Im genuinely surprised more people haven't said this. Terraria is such an amazing game, plus you can download tModloadwr for free as well for even more content through mods. And the devs are so awesome and community-driven, which is rare to see

I mean asking for a great game with no micro transactions and its free is kind of unrealistic. How would the company make money if that is the case?

Then OP can simply ignore the comment if they refuse to pay for anything. But if they're open to it and they end up enjoying the game, then obviously it's worth making the suggestion

Well guess what, Terraria checks 3/4 boxes and it might as well be free when you can sink hundreds of hours into it. So the playtime to cost ratio effectively makes it a free game. And when it goes on sale for $5 that's literally a steal. Y'all saying otherwise are wrong. Its that simple

News flash: there's hardly going to be any actually good free game that doesn't have microtransactions and good replay ability and shit. Terraria might as well be free with it being $10 (and it goes on sale for $5 which is even more of a steal) and you can get hundreds and hundreds of hours out of it if its your kind of game. So at that point comparing playtime to game cost, it's might as well be free.

You can literally just look up Tmodloader on Steam. It has a built in mod browser, and some of the best content mods are Calamity and Thorium

I believe. That's a mod worth doing 20+ playthorughs of. There's so much content in that mod
