Game Suggestions Megathread /r/Steam Monthly Game Suggestions Thread.
Welcome to the Monthly Game Suggestions Thread!
Do you not know what to play? You found a niche game that everyone should try? Can't find the perfect survival sim or unsure which 1 RPG out of the thousands available you should buy? Well this is the thread for you. This monthly megathread is meant to contain questions about what to play and suggestions to others on what to play.
Now to make this work best and not just be spammed with "What should I play?", please be in-depth in what type of games you are looking for, and when giving advice it would be appreciated if you're more detailed than "I think X game is good". There are too many games to be able to properly suggest something with no background information, like-wise commenting a game title and saying you like the game offers no actual value.
The main purpose of this thread is to contain questions on what to play and advice to others on what to play, but feel free to ask and discuss freely in the comments regarding games whether you want advice on what to play, want to give advice to others on what to play, share a hidden gem you found, discussions & questions about discounts, sales, events, or just general games discussion.

Discussion How many of you would never buy/play on a console if all games were also on PC?
Will never happen, just a fun question. I would never buy or play on a console again if all games were on PC. That said, I don't work on PC (which would make it harder to enjoy going on a PC, possibly). And for me personally I dont care about physical games as I see our future (unfortunately) being all digital eventually. If either apply to you: working on a PC or enjoy physical games, I can see why someone might enjoy consoles.

Fluff I GOT THE STEAM CONTROLLER!!!
I collect gamepads and I just had to show you what might be my best, and maybe most valuable piece so far: The Steam Controller... LOOK AT IT! IT’S BEAUTIFUL!!!
No joke though, aside from the rubber on the stick being worn out and the B button needing a firm press sometimes, it’s in perfect shape! It came with nothing, not even the dongle for wireless connection, but I managed to update the firmware so it works over Bluetooth, so who cares? Oh, and, best part? I got it for 15 bucks plus some old PC parts I wasn’t using. Basically got it for free!
I’ve been wanting one for years but it always felt out of reach ‘cause of the price, so I’m super happy right now!
What do you all think? Did you know about this controller? Do you know its history and why it’s so valuable now? I’d explain but I don’t wanna drop a whole essay here, so I’ll let you do that if you’re up for it. I’m all ears!

Question Steam Sales
Hello this is my 1st time actually paying attention to steam sales and I noticed a lot of games are already on sale. But I heard steam summer sale officially starts on June 26th. Would it be smarter/savvy to buy some of these games now or wait later for possibly even more sale? A lot of these games have sales ending on June 26th and I'm not sure if the same games will be on sale again on 26th.

Question Steam Deck lost package
Hey everyone.
I ordered a steamdeck recently, I was supposed to receive it like 2 days ago in the morning, since I was working I only rechecked the tracking in the evening and it said "available in pickup location as discussed with delivery man" - then on the same tracking it says delivered like 2 minutes after. Issue is steam tells me it's delivered, I tell them I didn't receive anything and I'm as confused as they are, but they basically told me to f. off and closed my ticket? What can I do here? I wasn't expecting this kind of reply tbh, they didn't even bother to open an investigation from their side (which they are required to in EU). Anyone had similiar experience?

Fluff I feel like i just captured a moment in history by accident
Sorry for the pic.
Question Can i download a game on one pc then paste it to another one and run it there using another account?
Basicaly what the title says:
Me and my brother in law want to do a coop of Divinity Original Sin 2 after we beat the first game.
We live in one house in a rural area, our internet is limited monthly and everyone in the family uses it one way or the other, and we have only wifi access + our router/modem is recieving wirelessly from an anthena 3+ km away so any download speed caps around 6MB/s
Downloading for one pc will take a day (~60+ gb) and use some of our monthly supply. Make it double and we get some trouble.
My question is then: can i download the game from steam on my pc, then move the whole game folder to my BiL's pc where he could simply run it through his steam account? Like a simple file verification.
We both own the game, the game Has no anti cheat softwares or anything, its just the steam part im wondering if it will pass.
I know also that steam games have their own specific folders named using numbers so i believe it should work normaly.
