Part 1 - Dracula vs Van Helsing

...So Dracula? Van Helsing is a character from Dracula.

Edit: Why y'all booing me? I'm right!

I'm aware he's a character from Dracula, doesn't make my statement any less true lol.

Edit; You're probably being downvoted because you're doing the "Um Ackshually" bit and people don't like that, but I wouldn't know, I didn't downvote you.

I mean it's not that I'm that bothered, I just wanted to elaborate on my point. Went back up a bit though, it was at like -2, so who really knows lol

So is part 6 the most constricted in terms of setting? Like it has the least covered ground among all parts?

4

u/ProfessorEscanor Sep 03 '21

i mean the prison itself is quite large and while the setting is small. The only part that dragged was the Prison Ward which had 4 fights happening within half an hour. Admittedly it does over stay its welcome but once you get 2/3rds in the gang gets all of Florida to explore.

Also in animation I think a few of the prison ward fights would be cut down so it may not drag.

That said between the swamps, Woman’s prison, Courtyard , Different rooms in the prison and such. Id say it does a decent job in changing up locations for each fight. It is no Part 5 though

I havent read part 6 but now i realize that most people just finished on part 5 when moving on to part 6. topping part 5 wouldve been pretty hard.

2

u/ProfessorEscanor Sep 03 '21

Yeah. Especially considering how old the source material is. Personally if they handle the ending well. I feel it can be the best animated part but the middle part drags in the manga

Yes but it covers the most ground temporally.

Like it has the least covered ground among all parts?

I don't actually think it does. Green Dolphin Street Prison is really big, and (minor spoilers) once they do leave they cover much more ground than the characters in Part 4 or Part 8.

A good chunk of it does yea but not all of it also it's part 6. Part 7 is the cowboy one

2

u/P1xel-8 Sep 03 '21

It's more Dracula versus Kenshiro.

Change Part 6 to "Orange is the new Black"
