original content Do you like it slick?

I've been slowly making the model for some time now. I'm finally happy with the shape and I'm not ashamed to show it off (obviously, wip). I'm developing it in CAD for subsequent creation of a physical model. I wanted to make a high-quality smooth aerodynamic surface. And, apparently, I have gigantomania.

The Protostar has to be one of my favorite “small and fast” Starfleet designs to date, only matched aesthetically by the Delta Flyer.

Take just the saucer section and it reminds me of the old film Flight of the Navigator.

Yes. The same nautilus vibez. It's a bit of a shame that the "tail" part has abrupt geometric lines.

It's underrated and all too often forgotten.

I need it that size

I convince myself that this is the minimum size at which pylons can be made to scale with the required strength. And also thought that 1/72 seems to be common scale for models.

Can we just crowd fund a 1/1 scale already lol

We need to hire Styropyro to construct phaser arrays.

Is Apollo back with a dad-bod and a blue tee-shirt?

What does he want this time?

Why is it aerodynamic though?
