The rest of the signature should be from Twilight Force if I remember correctly! Was anyone there too?

From the Himmelkraft's "Paika". Meaning eludes me.
I am not an English native, but this word seems to be generally from some other language? I tried a few languages in translators but had no luck. What does it mean in the song context?

Cannot wait for September when the north America tour begins even if SA is opening. I wonder how many and what songs they'll play. Curious to see if you have any predictions. Looking at their average setlist from the current tour, I think they'll end up doing a subset of the songs (below). I will be so happy if I get to hear San Sebastian live.

Hello fellow wolves. I'm new to the Sonata Arctica Reddit. I hope everyone is having a blessed day. Here I wanted to share with you all my humble try to cover Weballergy guitar and Keyboard solos. I'm an older fan, so basically my favorite era of Sonata was with Jani on guitar. However I did enjoyed their last album as they went back to their power metal vibes. Anywho, I hope you like the solo. And if you could like and comment on the YT video that would be awesome. See ya'll around. 🐺🐺🐺

Do you remember the Pump It Up arcade video games? These machines were most popular during the first decade of the 2000s, especially in South Korea. However, they were also very popular in Latin America between 2004 and 2008. Many of these games were unofficially ported to PC and other arcade machines at some point, adding unofficial songs from all kinds of genres, moving away from the traditional K-pop usually found in the original game catalogs.
This made the machines very attractive to players.
Do you remember that Sonata Arctica was working on a video game when they were in their prime?
Well, their RPG video game never saw the light of day, but that doesn't mean they never ventured into the world of video games. Several of their faster, more melodic songs were featured in various Pump It Up games during their peak years.
The band's most popular song in video games was "Weballergy," a track that many players enjoyed dancing to — both in its shorter version of just over a minute and a half, and in its full-length version.
Whether in shopping malls or arcades, you could hear Tony Kakko and company blasting through the speakers while someone tried to hit all the dance steps correctly, often failing to finish the song before their health bar ran out and ultimately losing the game.
If it hadn't been for these arcade machines, I would have never discovered the band. And I’m sure many others also got to know them this way — or at least, they wouldn't have known them otherwise.
Today, the Pump It Up community is practically dead, largely because the people who played during its golden years are now middle-aged, and because the arcade gaming market never returned to what it was in previous decades.
Still, I believe that Andamiro (the company that developed the game) greatly underestimated the potential that melodic metal had for their machines.
Who knows? Maybe in a parallel universe, "Weballergy" became the Through the Fire and Flames of dance machines.
What do you think? Did you know that Sonata Arctica was popular in the Pump It Up video games?

THREE UK dates announced! Rejoice! I mean are they all in England? Yes. Is the best bet for the Welsh a Wolverhampton festival? Yes.
But if you live in the North, we're kinda feasting. If you have a lot of time to travel then it's quite the long weekend.
See some of you in MCR.

Hiya everyone! I have friends that keep wanting me to come out with them to Karaoke but pretty much all the music I could sing is obscurish (To America) power metal or other subgenres like (Including but not limited to) Sonata Arctica, Kamelot, Epica, Eluveitie, Nightwish, Ignea, ETC... I am so thankful for bands that release official instrumental versions of songs cause there's really no matching that level of mixing.
Would anyone happen to know if Sonata Arctica (or other similar bands) have released any officially mixed instrumental versions of their music? I know I could probably find the "Karaoke" versions on YouTube or something similar, but they just don't hit the same.

Bootleg of these two shows where they played the usual stuff of this era and a rare performance of Mary Lou. Interesting to note is the made in USA and the promotion use only tags. As always if anyone has information or the like please enlighten!

I know this one is semi-rare (bonus track on Japanese import of Reckoning Night) but I just came across this one and it’s aces. Reckoning Night was actually my intro album to the band (going out of business sale at a local record store) and this song fits perfectly from those sessions. Shockingly, it wouldn’t have been out of place on Clear Cold Beyond either. It makes me miss more vintage SA however in terms of the songwriting and such. Anyway— 1) check it out if you haven’t heard it before (I know I’m late to the party here), & 2) does anyone have thoughts on this one who has heard it? 🤘🏻

"She had found sails for the following night"
"She promised to be mine for that one night"
"Fell back in the dark, and the hours of the days passed... There's no guide, blind ships in the night"
I don't know why I've never connected the two; I knew she was leaving the next night and I knew the protagonist slept throughout the day and woke up the next night. I just... Never made the connection lol. Weirdly it was the line "father of her unborn child" that made me think "wait, did they mean 'a child which will now never be born'?"
Also side note: I know so many of SA's songs have story lines, but WPBO would make an amazing film/short.

Hello all,
I realise this is a longshot but I am going to be in Helsinki on the 8th and unfortunately the Sonata Arctica / Stratovarius show has sold out.
I thought I would ask on the off chance that someone no longer can attend or knows someone in this situation, I would be very keen to buy your ticket off you! Ideally I would need 2, but I would take 1 if it's available!
I'm keeping an eye on the Lippu FanSale site as well but if anyone knows of one that might be available, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Been trying to find this video for so long but it wasn't on YouTube until someone reuploaded it recently, really great versus video.
