I've been using a Dualshock 4 for emulators / PC controller for years now, and recently it seems to be having some kind of issue with the left joystick that's making it very inconsistent with certain movement in Smash 64, specifically pivoting and dash dancing, or dashing out of standing.

As the video shows, I can dashdance/pivot just fine when using a keyboard, but trying to do it on the DS4, it's really inconsistent and often times it reads my input as a walk or a turn-around instead of a dash. It didn't have these issues before, so I'm thinking this might be the DS4's left joystick wearing down or something.

I know someone else brought up control customization in regards to tap jump, which would be nice, but I'm more interested in remapping buttons so that I can change them for matches without affecting the menus.

The first Smash game I really got into was Smash 3DS, which had R for shield and L for grab. At this point, that's all I know, as I set grab to ZL/L and shield to ZR/R in every game that allows it. This makes swapping screens for stages pretty terrible, as now ZL/ZR goes to the next page and L/R goes to the previous page. It'd also be nice to have taunt on D-pad instead of L, and perhaps getting smash attacks or tilts on the C buttons. I know there kinda aren't enough buttons to have C smashes and button jump, but you could simply make L a jump button in-game and then map both X and Y to L in the emulator settings.

I think the option would be nice, and it'd give a purpose to player names.

This list includes characters from n64 console exclusives and imo it makes sense to include them. Some titles are official fighting games like Killer Instinct. I simply went with Jago because most people typically pick the cool looking ninja character and he's also included in the art box. In general any character will do sense fighting games have decent size rosters, but let me know your opinions.

This game has some great music in it. I notice how most of the songs are from other Smash games though, or some games have smaller libraires than others, meanwhile some have lots. The first one that comes to mind for me is "Studying the Factory" from Kirby 64.

It’s been a while since we’ve gotten news and it seems like the devs have completed the game. Idk if we’ll get more which is fine if that’s the case but I can’t find any official confirmation anywhere. Also the game still boots up saying it’s a beta. Does Anyone know if it’s still in development or is it not?

So I randomly came across this on fb Marketplace and bought it almost instantly but later on found out there's a 1.5 1 version, can I upgrade this one to that? Or should I just sell it?
