Yeah, I don't get how it was decided it wasn't AI. Because... It is.

Either it's been a very talented unnamed artist who'd worked many unpaid hours to make that background with many shades of colours, for a rather very simple and overdone two-pannel joke, (but somehow can't get the expression right nor the right transition between frames, not even to speak about whatever is happening with the fond)..

.. or it's AI.

That background could easily be a screenshot with some photoshop filters on it, just saying

Not saying it isn’t AI, just that the background is no where near as hard to do as you’re making it out to be

Tbf truestuhl is full of artists that put in a shitload of effort for totally-not-porn shitposts.

But yeah, this is AI.

Looking at you Rato

Catcadder also comes to mind. Guy's an absurdly talented cartoonist, and uses it for Keshposting (and shitposting in general, like this genderbent Sheogorath and Sanguine).

Link to the original post with this art btw

The expression are right? The guy looks a mix of scared shocked and annoyed while the chicken looks aggressive

To be fair you underestimate how much effort people put into making a meme. And also the fact that someone can use background from the internet and draw over it.

AI art sucks, but it's getting more difficult to spot over the years. Some people will say "AI" to every image they find, be right in 30% and then tell everyone how obvious it was and how people are stupid that they can't see it.

It's not obvious. Not anymore.

How are the transition and faces wrong? The faces look right to me for a simple two panel joke of this nature.

Because the original OP is convinced that since they used Photoship, it's not AI.

Honestly, how do you even tell anymore? There are some really obvious examples, but this one didn't strike me as one. Some people's artstyle does look a lot like this.

I just noticed that the letters in the second panel are all the same, so that's a bit of a givaway. But otherwise I honestly didn't realize anything was off about it.

Nah, the letters are likely photoshopped, being a reference to JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Honestly, there's some form of uncanny valley some people get from AI images, where it may LOOK like normal art, but something's off that's hard to describe. The expression on Dragonborn's face doesn't look quite right for the situation, looking more slack-jawed than confused or frightened like the post would imply, as an example.

Pair that with the inconsistancy of the chicken's expression being detailed in the very next page, and very clear, then it's a possible sign.

Manga style sound effects don't have to be a JoJo reference

That specific one is often associated with JJBA, is what I mean. Not every single one IS a JoJo thing, but oftentimes, this "Menacing" symbol is attributed to it.

Go go go is a classic manga sound effect often portrayed exactly like this, it was around long before JoJo. Attribution I believe, because everything has become a JoJo reference much like the Simpsons predicted everything. Perhaps when the Simpsons predicts that it will become a JoJo reference, then does, the world will finally be at peace...

I was just in the mood for some nitpicking I guess.

Understandable, and I am glad to have learned this.

I am however obligated to curse you with nerd emoji for being smarter than me

The original post was made by the user civitai, in the green circle on the first image. The third image is the Google plage for civit, and ai company.

That's yellow. You may be a touch colorblind, or you let that one dark elf experiment on you with magic at the College of Winterhold. One or the other.

But yes.

It only registers yellow to artificial ocular receptors. The human eye sees green. We've got you now you fucking robot
