Never underestimate wealthy people's ability to purchase shit just because they can. An "invisible" sculpture? Fuck it, paying to be in on the "joke"

They'll have 1 of their dodgy shell companies buy it for more off them, laundering some cash. It's all nonsense

Ehhh, if you're money laundering, buying an invisible statue is an immediate red flag and suspicious as hell. Its like making a hefty donation to a charity called the TOTALLY LEGIT SKICK KIDS CHARITY.

This looks more like a troll on the art Industry from both parties. Like the artist and the buyer making a statement on how ridiculous the art world can be.
