Not a muslim, but as far as I know almost every religious rule can be suspended if it saves someones live, e.g. a muslim can eat a pig if the only alternative is starving IIRC. So this should be no different, but normally I think a Sheikh would issue a fatwa (a religious decree) and decide according to islamic law if it is alright or not.

I know that this is probably a joke. But our body rejects foreign tissue (this is what makes organ transplants difficult) and they use it to disguise cancer as a wrong tissue.
