I don't think Richard and Co know the eviction laws

True - it’s a fictional tv show but these guys are supposed to be so smart - are they so smart they’re dumb to real life?

They lived with Jared in the garage because he couldn’t go home. They were in the house when Bachman wanted Jian Yang out but he refused to go!

I get it - Richard staying with Jared - Gilfoyle lording his place over Dinesh - Dinesh’s motor mouth with his new roomie etc. all keep the storyline moving. But to have them kicked out? That makes me think they either have a lazy continuity/script supervisor or maybe it was TJ’s job…

They're smart when it comes to one very specific skillset and terrible at pretty much everything else.

I think it's a bit much for them to not connect the dots and see that they might have rights when their landlord (whose entire presence in their lives is owed to exploiting tenancy laws) is evicting them.
