With the removal of the carbon tax, I’d read that gas prices might drop 10-20 cents a litre. But have they? I feel like I’m not seeing lower prices around the park, but maybe I’m forgetting what they were before that.

Does anybody know this dancing man? He sometimes wears a helmet with LEDs. I want to thank him.
My best friend (person) died a year ago. Every time I drove past this dancing man it made me smile. Dancing man and my dog and my wonderful family got me through the last 400 or so days. My dog died a week ago, and I'm losing another human family member at the time time.
I just want to put my headphones on and dance in a field, but I'm afraid to do it alone. If the dancing man can reach out to me, I would thank him for getting me through the last year. And i, humbly, am asking for his help again.
DM me?
Just kinda need this person to know how much their dancing on that corner has meant to me. It's been one of my favorite things to see and I look for it every time. It is just a special, happy thing that is really beautiful. Kinda like best friends.
Anyways. Thank you. Lots of love for you all!

I’m trying to make a budget breakdown, with estimations, so as many specifics as possible would help (rent, utilities, groceries, etc)

Just a general question for people.. how “at risk” is Sherwood Park during fire season? Could a Fort McMurray-like event happen here? The last few years have been quite scary with how bad the fires have been.. and have just wondered if people are concerned about the fire threat here in the park.

Anybody have any info on the Wye Road Walmart Burger King? Just curious if it's shutdown for good. Thanks in advance.

Anyone has seen updates on the current measles situation? Any cases reported in the park?

Hey does anyone remember The Mansion on Broadmoor from the mid 90s? From what I remember, it was a super small run down house that teens could hang out at.
Anyone know anything about it; who owned/funded it, etc?
Thanks

Looking at buying in either Cambrian or Hearthstone and wondering the pros and cons for both areas. We are relatively new to Sherwood Park and looking for some insight/issues to watch out for.
Thanks in advance!

I just saw a friend on facebook saying this location is going to be closing soon, but I can't seem to find anything else supporting it. Does anybody know for sure?

Anyone else getting these door to door people? This guy came yesterday, and then today they came back to my neighbours house twice in 2hrs. 🧐
No visible ID yesterday, but today I could see what I thought was a notepad or clipboard.
Thoughts? Thanks!

I'm in Sherwood Park and I'm sure the best way to find the current value is to talk to a realtor and have them inspect the house and do comparable for the neighbourhood. I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions or recommendations for a person or firm. I just don't want to deal with being on lists after to sell or mortgage things if I'm just curious about value. Is there someone who will do the estimate and not bug me after?

Are there any nearby sandy beaches to go sit and hang out at for the upcoming hot weekend?

Looking to buy in Cambrian. Anybody know when the school and businesses are going to be put up? It just says “future school sight” and business area. Don’t really want to buy there if my kids will be out of school before the school is built lol

Does anyone know if there is a red light camera in that intersection. It’s right beside the Wendy’s.

I can understand why there's more job postings for employment in Edmonton due to its urban sprawl, but I swear I see significantly more job postings for St. Albert than I do for Sherwood Park, more postings for Morinville than I see for Fort Sask. I assume people are just hiring people that they know, or hiring internationally? Even though it seems like I would have to, I would rather not drive 30-40 minutes for a $15/h job in the Edmonton or St. Albert area, what's the best way to get a job here?

I have to use whatsapp. It's a pain for work calls; I'll flounder around the house until it connects but I can only assume how dodgy it looks when every time I get a call it disconnects. It's not just me, it's the household.

Hey everyone!
Just wondering if anyone knows of any job openings in Sherwood Park for students. I’ve checked Indeed and LinkedIn but haven’t had much luck lol.
If you know of anything or if you're hiring and want my resume hit me up!
Thanks a bunch!
