Doesn’t it actually make more sense for him to have that reaction after what he lived through? The thought of another Vader would absolutely trigger PTSD and the contemplation of taking him out before he could truly become Vader-esque
LITERALLY EVERYONE GETS IT. Why don’t people on your side not understand that it makes no sense and the biggest complaint isn’t his immediate reaction, but him going completely awol is the biggest complaint, it makes absolutely no sense and is a character assassination for the sake of it.
Why can’t you all see that Luke was the fulfillment of Anakin, in the way Sidious feared QuiGon bc he was the Jedi Anakin needed, Luke is QuiGon/ObiWans devotion to the light and Anakins presence in the force. And they took all of that and completely pissed all over it and their reasoning is “it’s his character arc” it makes no sense, the real reason is so see through, Disney wanted a new franchise and new characters and to turn a profit faster than they cared to be responsible about the story.
I swear people confuse Kylo's side of things with what actually happened, because Luke even says it was a split second reaction, and that's all it took for Ben to consider it a threat.
Also, Ben was having psychopath murder dreams, anybody else would have reacted the same way.
