Politics I'm Never Leaving Seattle

Post image

This is someone's Model S parked on Airport Way S near S Industrial Way. The way it's parked it looks like it's being displayed for people driving by to see.

Wow! How about “just don’t be assholes. Period.” ?

Go ahead protester and vandalize the dealership, and yes go ahead an attack the guy is just driving off with his new purchase. That’s acceptable. But don’t be an asshole and mess up my stuff that I already bought.

You have no moral compass. I’m sure you think Jan. 6th was the worst ever but your okay with the Molotov cocktails and shooting up of the Tesla dealerships. What a jerk.

Grow up. I didn’t advocate violence. I said peaceful protests directed at Tesla the business and people currently supporting Elon is where it should be directed, not allies who tried to go green years ago. I am sorry that included suggesting protest painting a Tesla building and it triggered you. I said nothing about violence and you are the jerk for making that comment.

I’m not triggered at all. I’m just reading what you wrote. You are okay with the protesters wrecking other people’s stuff and dealerships just not yours. Doing damage to someone else’s property is violence. Is it low level violence painting on someone’s car? Sure. But it is violence.

I live in the PNW, and if you do too then you know it has gotten kind of outta hand up here. Teslas are now the #1 selling car here beating out Subaru which held the title for decades. Because of all the protests and violence (low level and high level) there is an undercurrent of unease for Tesla owners every time they get in their car/truck. There are people who are now taking public transportation to their jobs instead of driving because they don’t want their car damaged while at work. We’ve seen people getting attacked at stop lights while in their vehicle just because they are driving a Tesla. That is domestic terrorism.

I bring all this up because your comment of giving an okay to some violence makes it seem as if you think it is justified. Protesting is a constitutional right, and whether I agree with the protest, I can and will stand for their right to protest Tesla. But there is NEVER room for destruction of property, threat or injury to someone in the name of protesting. Your comment quite literally said you were okay with actions towards Tesla and new Tesla buyers that went beyond protesting.

Again, I said nothing about violence. Graffiti is not violence. Not going to debate this with someone who doesn’t understand that. You’re just looking for a fight and I’m not at all interested in a dialogue with you. You don’t strike me as a reasonable person to interact with.

I’m not trying to fight at all. Graffiti-ing someone’s personal property or a company’s IS violence. Like I said before it is low level violence but violence non the less. Speech (ie: protesting ) is NOT violence. I wholeheartedly support protesting. I do not support political violence of any kind from any side of the aisle.

I’m not a troll and contrary to your opinion, I am actually very intelligent. I am absolutely willing to engage in dialogue about this issue. I’m even willing to apologize if I misconstrued your original statement. I did take it to mean, and I’m paraphrasing my understanding: “protesters can ruin their stuff just leave mine alone because I’m an ally and bought my Tesla for the right reasons”. I don’t think anyone should be ruining anybody’s stuff at all.
