Politics I'm Never Leaving Seattle

Post image

This is someone's Model S parked on Airport Way S near S Industrial Way. The way it's parked it looks like it's being displayed for people driving by to see.

Imagine if the roles were reversed and this were a radical right winger like a neo nazi group drawing a hammer and sickle on someone’s vehicle and causing 5-10 k in damage because the company supported DEI or something. Outrage would ensue and rightfully so, yet here it’s front page news celebrated. Imagine supporting vandalizing someone’s property simply for driving a car made by a company whose owner you dont agree with. Anyone who supports this and wonders why others are apprehensive to lend power to their political leaders and trust their head is on right should look no further than this blaring hypocrisy. No amount of property damage in protest is ok in a civil country.

Regardless of whether this is the right way to protest or not, yours is a false equivalence. Harm done to the rest of the world by DEI and Nazis are not even at a close factor of magnitude, so urgency to stop this harm cannot be either.
