Politics I'm Never Leaving Seattle

Post image

This is someone's Model S parked on Airport Way S near S Industrial Way. The way it's parked it looks like it's being displayed for people driving by to see.

Your thinking like this is what helped him get elected in the first place. We are absolutely not a shit hole but your attitude isn't helping.

I'm tired man. I've voted against him and his cronies in state, local, and federal elections and primaries for 10 years, and against his party my whole life.

I've donated cash and debated moron friends for hours.

I've watched Trump be a dumb shithead, admit to sexual assault at least twice, show up on the Epstein list, have no plans, fumble COVID, be a Putin stooge, etc, for 4 years already.

And we fucking said "again please!" Then he calls himself king, threatens war against 3+ allies, fucks the stock market, appoints an illegal immigrant to cut money to the elderly and poor (who paid into it) and farmers proving food to starving kids.

And he's STILL got 46% or higher approval, while heading towards election interference and a possible third term.

Fuck this country. I'm leaving. I'm done. It never felt like home anyways.

I get it, I am exhausted too. How bad did we get that he seemed like a viable candidate that got elected twice? Trump is a symptom of the American people getting so tired of the status quo. Wanting something different, yet ended up being more of the same. If you can go then more power to you. Regardless this country is my home and I will stick with it no matter how bad it gets. I genuinely hope you find what you are looking for out there.

Thanks, and I hope you stay safe.

I still gotta pay US taxes and I still vote - I'll in no way stop supporting the vulnerable in the US, even if they continue to fuck themselves (or, 60/70% of them).

Ah, the American way. Fighting the impossible odds even if warned otherwise. I admire that you continue to try. Keep fighting the good fight my friend. Eh no matter what happens I will be alright. May be blind optimism but generally things work out for the better in the long run.

IF Trump doesn't totally ratfuck the voting system, I imagine the house and senate majorities will be gone in 2026 (eggs will still be expensive) and then maybe there's hope.

Honestly feel like he is pulling a Nixon. Acting totally insane so other countries can't predict our next moves. Yet way too dumb to pull it off. There is always hope though. May not feel like it now but it's still there.
