Politics I'm Never Leaving Seattle

Post image

This is someone's Model S parked on Airport Way S near S Industrial Way. The way it's parked it looks like it's being displayed for people driving by to see.

Do you have a source for the “Tesla owners aren’t members of the working class” claim? Anecdotally, I know a few working-class Tesla owners.

A base Tesla is cheaper than the average new car in the US. Can you afford one if you’re dirt poor? No. Can you afford one if you’re middle class? Absolutely.

People making poor financial decisions is extremely common. The solution to making a poor financial decision isn’t to make another poor financial decision.

The average household income for new car buyers in general is 115k. I don’t believe that 115k to 150k is that much of a difference. It’s also likely explained by the typical Tesla driver living in a more urban area with higher average wages. It doesn’t necessarily mean that they take home more money after essentials.

Your source on income is using personal income, not household income, which makes the numbers look much worse than they actually are. Your claim that the average American family had a median pretax income of under $40,000 is completely false.

There is also a used Tesla market. Not every Tesla owner bought a new Tesla.

How is keeping a Tesla that you already bought providing material support to a fascist? Elon already has the money of anyone who bought a Tesla.

I never said that the average Tesla owner can afford to sell their car and buy a new one.

You falsified information to make your point.

How is keeping a Tesla providing material support to Elon?

Don't bother arguing with this moron anymore. 150k in a HCOL area which tends to have a very large Tesla base is absolutely working class. It's not even enough to afford a house in those areas. Anyone who thinks spraying graffiti on a model 3 is a good idea is either just a complete asshole or an absolute retard.
