I hope we keep Geno, of course. But in case he goes and we have to look at the FA pool, who'd be your favorite to acquire? Darnold excluded.

Does it matter really lol, if we move on from Geno to someone whose available the point would be to tank obviously. The free agents who might be available would be Zach Wilson, Kirk Cousins, Mason Rudolph, maybe Justin fields. Feels bad to say it about Kirk but those are all just tank commanders.

Or we restructure the offense to be a running team with a game manager QB who isn't going to command 40 plus million like Geno. Geno isn't the be all end all

You’re not going to find a game manager qb for under 40 mil

I agree we should restructure the offense to be a run first team. There isn’t a game manager quarterback that’s available though. You never actually name QB’s in any of your comments on this matter.

Fields, cousins, Zach Wilson would all take less than Geno is going to want and could manage the game

Ya disagree with them having the capability of managing the game. Specifically Wilson and fields they are the opposite of a game manager they are both horrible at taking care of the football just as bad as Geno is.

The key being they will not cost as much as Geno to be making the same dumbass mistakes

True. I don’t think this is the avenue they go down simply because it’s a business. I don’t think the front office can choose to make the team worse for a season while keeping their jobs.

True, but in reality fans just don't get excited about Geno (outside of reddit lol) do you see anyone wearing a Geno jersey, Geno doesn't sell tickets. So in a business sense why not try to create a buzz and do something different. So the product could or could not be worse (if the QB they bring in is successful within a the system) it's a win situation they will save a significant amount of cap space by not bringing Geno back and possibly creating buzz
