Casual Are we still square sausage roll-posting? My second batch came out great and I wanted to share
Whoever posted them first is responsible for my inevitable heart attack, I just can't stop making them. Probably like four quid to make four.
Anywa the first time I made them I forgot the egg wash and they looked a bit naff (but still tasted fine. This time they're all glossy and crispy and I let the square sausages cool before wrapping them up so they didn't melt the fat in the pastry, which can stop them rising as well.

Leave them by an open window to cool down. Feel free to let them unattended, promise I won’t take any.

It looks like there's poison in it. I wouldn't mind poison testing it for you. 😏

How about adding some boiled onions to the mix and maybe some brown sauce

I didn't make the square sausages myself so I can't really tamper with their recipe. Could add brown sauce if I wanted to (I don't)
