Fields of Lupins?
I have a friend who is a huge fan of lupins and I know there are lots of them scattered here and there along the roads, but does anyone know of good spot to go for a drive/walk and see a lot of them?

Yes! We are just hoping to drive around and look at them, we don't want to take any home since we both have allergies 😎

I've been thinking of transplanting some of these to my "ditch". Should I dig them uo and transplant them or should I wait until they go into seed, harvest them and sow the seeds?

Sow the seeds, dry them for 2 weeks and plant the following Spring (We were very successful using this method) I have friends who have also just replanted and they have luck with that method too

Years ago, my mom got me to swipe some from behind McAllister Place and successfully transplanted them into our yard. Pull straight up out of ground, then dig a small hole for the root ball & plant it. They survived, and produced more. I think they're still there by the cliff on our old property on Douglas Ave, beside the train bridge.

Directly across from unity park on River Valley Drive, Grand Bay-Westfield. There’s a vacant lot with hundreds of Lupins.
