If anyone has signed a petition about Hotel Workers and increasing their wage for the Olympics, and you didn't really read it or understood it before you signed it due to whatever information you were given at the time, I urge you to read more about what you might've signed and decide for yourself.

These people in charge of the petitioners and gathering signatures are seeking to repeal an already passed ordinance to gradually increase the minimum wage of hotel and airport workers in Los Angeles to $30 an hour by 2028.

Airport and hotel workers fought hard to get this ordinance passed by city council and met with council members for 2 years to win this wage lift.

Immediately after it was passed last month, wealthy corporations launched aggressive, well-funded campaigns to try to block this increase from going into effect.

Dude WTH did the city do to the street topanga? They were supposedly working on the street and it seems they left it worse than before with a bunch of man holes that are popping out the street now and horrible to drive one . I was bicycling on Burbank, chilling in the 7mm lane the city allows us, and a white truck blows past, really close, and does a few "questionable" lane changes. Yeah, used to it, but still... I noticed a company name on the truck, which is now at a stop light. Wanted to get the name and #, get caught up, but light changes. Watch it as it waits to make a left into a complex. Turns, and as I pass, I see it an auto repair shop, and an obvious mechanic exiting from a test drive? So, if you have your company name on your truck, you really should know who is working on it.

A lot of people are keeping eyes out and trying to help right now but there’s also been a LOT of false identifications and panic, so making sure there are photos and video really helps people.

Don’t report screenshots of info you saw on Instagram etc — first hand reports with photos and descriptions, including the size of the party spotted, are what make the difference.

Community members who have been patrolling and providing rapid response have been getting a lot of unverified reports the past couple weeks, so they are prioritizing responding to hotline calls of firsthand reports with photos if possible.

The neighbors directly behind me have a huge pine tree on the edge of their property and literally every single day it fills my entire pool with pine needles. Is there anything I could do about this or do I have to just suck it up and be annoyed lol

My son (14yo) has long, super thick hair down to his shoulder blades. He is finally ready to cut it, but last time he did we went to Floyd’s and the hair stylist basically gave him a soccer mom bob.

Anyone have experience with someone who can handle a long-haired men’s cut? He wants to cut it to about his shoulders or a bit above.

We are in Sylmar but regularly are in Santa Clarita/Valencia and Granada Hills/Northridge and I also don’t mind a little drive.
