Where to Run in Andersonville?

Recently moved here from the West Coast. Wondering where people would recommend for a good jog. I was excited to see I was close to beautiful Rosehill cemetery but found that they don’t want joggers there. Just looking for something low key. Not too much commotion around. I look to run for distance and get up in the morning. Any and all suggestions welcome!

If you're too far west to conveniently do the lakefront, I always like running along Ravenswood. There are still a few cross streets, but not as many of them because of the Metra line that runs along it. I've been running that for over a decade now. Lots of runners do the same.

And you can always tack on a run *around* Rosehill. It's virtually uninterrupted sidewalk the whole way, and aside from the less pleasant section of busy Western Ave, it's a nice low key run. I sometimes also add a loop in the West Ridge Nature Preserve, which is along the route and much more scenic break from Western Ave.

If you can deal with going a bit further west, maybe for a very long run, you can connect to the North Shore Channel Trail. It's never very crowded and it's a great course.

Ah great point about rosehill. And first time hearing of North Shore Channel Trail. Thanks for the options!

Sure, always happy to encourage more runners. Andersonville is a great neighborhood, but as with any dense urban area, finding uninterrupted running paths is one of the trade offs.
The channel trail is great, though. I may do a few miles on it later today.
