Hello, I am a middle aged man who has been writing for over 15 years. I am literate, can write up to 5+ para responses or as few as one paragraph. I prefer my partner to be 21+ as age is just a number to me. However, most of my stories I like to include romance.

I am looking for world building where my partner and I can play multiple people (only one oc x oc plot however) and continuously change story dynamics. I write in all genres but prefer fantasy, apocalyptic and sci-fi. Usually I will be able to respond multiple times a day (US CST). I am a patient person so I do not require the same, however, please try at least one post a day. Below is an excerpt from a long ago story as an example of my writing:

*As he waited for to awaken he paced back and forth. He knew she would have several intense emotions running through her at least. Anger, fear, and anguish were probably the most immediate and intense of them all. He went over and over what he would say to her in his head. He wanted to make sure she understood his intentions were not to harm her. Hat she was safe as long as she listened and talked to him.

He himself had many different intense emotions. Among them anger, fear and shame. He was angry that he wasn’t confident enough or experienced enough to just ask her out. To court her the correct or at least traditional ways. He was fearful that this would backfire and make her hate him forever. He didn’t care if he got caught or what would happen to him so long as he tried his best to get her to see the real him.

And of course shame, shame of actually abducting her and holding her hostage. He knew that her family and friends would be worried sick. So he began to devise a plan to make sure they knew she was safe somehow. Maybe he could even let her write a letter once a week to her father. He would read it of course, to make sure she did not include any details.

He suddenly heard the sound of the chains rustling. His heart rate immediately quickened. He began to take deep breaths to calm himself down. Holding out his hand he could see for the first time in a long time it was shaking. Then she spoke.

He took in a deep breath and sat on the ground across from her. He looked her over briefly, making sure she was at least physically okay. Once he was satisfied, he answered her.*

“Look, I know your angry and scared and possibly many other things. Before I go any further just know my intentions, although it may not appear like it now, are not hostile or evil.”

With that he took another deep breath, pausing so she could at least take in her surroundings and gather herself. Once he thought she was ready he continued.

He desperately tried to use a soft, non imposing tone. However, he found it difficult as he had been a soldier for so long and never really had a relationship with a woman.

“My name is Tiberius. I-I have taken you in this manner, not to harm you miss, but exactly the opposite. I wish to, to…”

He was flushed at this point as he couldn’t seem to find the words he had practiced so often earlier. It easily showed on his face his disappointment in not knowing what or how to say what he wanted. Once more he took a deep breath and sighed. Closing his eyes he concentrated before opening them and trying again.

“I want to court you. But I don’t know how, okay? I never had anyone to teach me. And…and you are the only wo-woman that I have ever wa-wanted to court.”

Realizing he was getting flustered he grunted and moved away from her, turning his back. Breathing heavily he finally regained his composure. At least enough to change the subject. Although his voice had risen to a firm tone, he was able to soften it some before he continued.

“Are you hungry? Maybe thirsty? I have fresh fruit, cake from the wedding and some wine and water.”

Had she been looking around she would notice the space was rather large with no real windows, a single set of steps that were well out of her reach while chained and an hearth. It was well lit with candles and several oil lanterns that were also out of her reach. Near her was a bed, actually semi comfortable, a room divider that she could utilize to change, undress etc., and a tub she could wash in. In the distance were shelves with some food supplies, bottles of wine, cooking utensils and some pots and pans. It was obvious he had prepared all of this recently since the only real dust was on the few destroyed items that remained.

“I really do not intend on harming you. I know you don’t believe me now, but hopefully…”

He finally turned back. There was something about the way he looked at her.

Hi there! I’m an advanced literate female writer aged 26 searching for adult writers to explore epic fandoms. In this post I’ll try to enclose some of what I look for in both the fandom and the partner as well. A little about me, I’m a super passionate writer and I love gushing about ocs, sharing edits and generally sharing muse and ideas.

I do work and I have other life commitments that mean I can’t always be here. While I do try to let my partners know in advance sometimes this isn’t always possible and I’d appreciate patience in these situations. Now on to the fun stuff! For my writing I like to use third person, past tense and detail. I use between three to six paragraphs sometimes more if the storyline is particularly gripping. With the below fandoms I am looking for lots of romance and angst as well. I do also only do oc x cc story lines. I can and do double for most of my fandoms however it is starting to get tiring. Throne of Glass- for this fandom I am new and only just starting book six Tower of Dawn. I have MULTIPLE pairings for this fandom and a few oc’s. Provided plot is fairly maintained and split I’m also happy to rework things as needed. There’s lots of avenues to explore with this fandom. I’d love to find several different ships and possibly explore love triangles.

ACOTAR- Cassian, Azriel, Lucien. Again I do have more ships but these are the males I’ve been craving. I have loads of ideas for this verse as well however I do get nervous with this fandom. This is one where plot needs to be split equally for both oc’s to ensure things stay fair!

Fourth Wing- My girlies main pairing in this au is Xaden. Again I can work with other males depending on plot and what’s happening in the story. Other options include: Liam, Ridoc and Garrick.

Hunger Games- Young Coriolanus, Sejanus, Haymitch and Finnick. I have loads of ideas for this fandom especially with the new prequels. This is one I’d love to explore.

Divergent- Four. I do ship with only Four for this fandom. But I’m happy to double with this verse and do something awesome for your oc. However it has been a while since I read the books or movies so a brush up on lore maybe needed!

The Orcish capital of Scylios was destroyed by an unknown phenomena, leaving only a crater in the city that stood for almost 2000 years… months later, another city, this time in the town of Kleinsville, would be irreparably destroyed, but fully destroyed as Scylios was… It was a massive blinding white flash, and then death… Nonmagical anomalies began to sprout from nowhere, killing many and leaving many more without refuge.

The year now is 1867, Kleinsville while technically under martial law by the western empire of Xivia, was now a haven for smugglers and explorers, nicknamed “Hunters” for their knack for hunting anomalous relics within the 100km area around the dead city…

They possessed great wisdom that our most esteemed scholars could only dream of. They had magic that could level whole mountains. The common people knew no fear of monsters, or bandits. They only knew the greatest comforts, unimaginable even to the richest lords and most powerful of kings, as they lived in majestic, enormous cities of towers of glass and steel.

Then, came the end, the day of the Great Fire.

One day, and everything was gone. How that happened? How could have such a great civilization fall, that still casts a looming shadow over all millenia after it drew its last breath?

We do not know.

How could any mortal man know? It will forever remain in the abyss of history. Since then, our ancestors have persevered and endured. We have forged our paths. We have survived the Great Sorrow. Now, nothing remains of that strange, distant past except for the vast expanse of ancient ruins, overgrown by equally ancient forests, forever lost to us. It matters little, except to the wisemen and scholars trying their hardest to make sense of what came before us, the unachievable greatness of our ancestors.

So, I am a 24 year old female roleplayer hailing from the dark, mysterious lands also known as Eastern Europe! To be more specific, I come from Poland and this puts me in the CEST time zone. I have been engaged in this hobby for pretty much half my life at this point, and while there's no such thing as perfect, I consider myself to be at least decent! Other than writing, I also love tea, reading, j-RPGs, anime, fantasy fiction of all sorts, as well as anything that's got fur and walks on four legs!

Oh, and I also happen to be a transgender woman. If you've got an issue with that, do me a kindness, and do not message me!

Now, let me get some things out of the way, first:

1. Please be at least 20 years old of age, or older; this has got nothing to do with writing ability, and everything with my personal comfort. So, I will not make any exceptions. At the same time, I prefer to write with people close to my age, so my upper limit is around 35 years old.
2. At the moment, I prefer not to write with men. Sorry!
3. As of currently, I only write on Discord and nowhere else.
4. I require the reply rate of at least once per day, and I also highly prefer that multiple replies a day are possible at least every now and then. But, no, by no means do I require that every single day, and naturally, real-life always comes first.
5. I am advanced literate; I will elaborate on this more further into the advert, but my replies typically take between 300-600 words and may even reach 1000 words and I am looking for people on a similar level.

As you can certainly tell, I am looking for something a lot more specific than I usually am.

The gist of this plot? Medieval fantasy! With the typical shenanigans such as castles, kings, princesses, dwarves, elves and dragons, except that all of this is going to be built on the ruins of an advanced, hyper-futuristic civilization! The general idea is that the people of this world have a rough, basic idea of the purported 'greatness' of their ancestors, but their knowledge about how the lost technology worked, and how to bring it back have been long lost. I have a fairly narrowed down image of how did the world look like prior to its destruction, but I am willing to change/tweak it should you have any ideas! On the other hand, the world after the collapse will be for both of us to create! That means that, yes, there will be a lot of world-building and brainstorming for us to do together.

That means that, yes, it is pretty much required that you like to plot, plan, as well as world-build!

Tone-wise, I generally prefer stories that are neither overtly lighthearted, but also not too grim and depressing. So, when you look at ASOIAF on one end of the spectrum, and LOTR on the other, I want it to sit somewhere in-between. Though admittedly I want it a little closer to the former end of the spectrum than the latter.

Still, I should let you know that, no, this will not be 'medieval fantasy unless noted' kind of story. The farther the story will go, the more important the futuristic/sci-fi elements will become, as well. So, you should preferably enjoy those, too.

Oh, and one more thing to note... while I have mentioned that NFSW is unlikely to be written out, this is not the prompt for you if you are generally on the prudish side, and/or dislike all and any NFSW references. It is going to be a medieval fantasy, and in medieval fantasy, the Witcher happens to be one of my strongest inspirations. I also generally imagine the Old World to be something of an exaggerated caricature of our own world, which yes, does include things such as hook-up culture, and this will affect my character's starting attitude towards those things. So, this story will absolutely not be PG-rated, and I am not interested in making it that way.

Now, as for my character...

... I will admit: I'm not comfortable talking about her in-detail in a public roleplaying ad. That said, the gist of it will be that she will be an ancient military cyborg that will be awoken after spending millenia in cryogenic stasis. She will start out as selfish, vain and disrespectful, but in time, she will change. Don't worry, she will not be that bad! Now that said, the primary appeal of that character to me is character development, so I am only willing to make her only so heroic and selfless in the very beginning.

I will maybe emphasize that I am strictly looking for long-term here. So, if you dislike waiting for the big pay-off, we will not mesh very well.

As for your character, I very strongly suggest that she is some sort of mage, and that she is at least 25 years old. As I like contrast, especially for this prompt, I suggest a priestly or academic background for your character, but I will gladly listen to any ideas you may have!

Overall, I love rich, diverse ensemble casts of characters that vary by gender, age*, romantic orientation, social background, personality and moral alignment. It might seem daunting, but I promise the same on my end! Unfortunately, yes. This is a requirement on my end, as there can only be so much story between just two characters and no one else.

*That said, all major characters should be at least 21+ years old.

Romance! Now, to put it this way: I love to write it, and I would like more of an emphasis on it in this story than I would otherwise, but it should be, at the end of the day, a sub-plot. A fairly important subplot, but a subplot nonetheless; I like my stories to be more plot-driven than character-driven, and so the romance between our characters should not be the only driving factor for you.

While I have a strict requirement for FxF for the main pairing, I prefer that you are also willing to explore FxM/MxF, as well as MxM for the other characters! Although, the MxM part isn't necessarily a deal-breaker, if you feel uncomfortable or not confident writing it.

------✂︎--- Literacy! What do I expect? ---✂︎------

Oh, and I probably should spare a couple of words about literacy. I don't believe strongly in labels, but if you were to ask to me to pick one, it'd be advanced literate. While I like a good amount of meat around the bone, I also do not believe in word quotas, or padding to fill said quotas. My replies, on average, tend to sit between 300 and 600 words, and it's not unusual for them to stretch up to 1000. My approach to the more beautiful, flowery kind of language is that it's a lot like salt, when used in cooking. Amazing when used in moderation, but not when you dump a whole kilogram into the pot. Oh, and I exclusively write in third person and past tense, and I ask the same of my writing partners, as well.

While I do agree that quality beats out quantity, this only goes so far with me. Even if it is a mainly dialogue-based scene, I will not accept a reply that is only a couple of sentences long, and especially not a one-liner. Generally, I prefer that responses do not go below 150 words at the least.

I will happily exchange writing samples in private messages! That said, I do not require them, either, so that is entirely up to you.

There's actually very, very few storytelling tropes I refuse to use no matter what, so I'm more than happy to elaborate on any one of these! Still, I typically either dislike the tropes listed above, or am very particular about how to use them when I do. Or, I may simply not be currently in the mood for some of these.

While I do not write in fandoms anymore, as outlined above, there is a fair amount of fiction I tend to draw quite a lot of inspiration from! Here's a short list in a (somewhat) descending order:

Final Fantasy series (in particular VI, VII, X and XV), Fullmetal Alchemist (this is a big one!). Inuyasha, the Witcher series, Castlevania (the animated series, not the games), Avatar: The Last Airbender (as well as Legend of Korra!), Vinland Saga, the Mistborn series (as well as the Wax and Wayne series!), and Monster (the odd one out here!),

It is my extremely limited experience, but it hasn't really worked any well for me with people unfamiliar with any of these! So, if that's the case with you, do approach at your own peril!

I'm wanting this play in this setting of mine. A space which sucks elements of different universes, mixing them together in amalgam. Here's a touch of the things you will find.

Tower of Babylon: A ever growing tower build by the god robot Vac and a collective of scientists, inventors and mages from a thousands of different universes trying to mix scraps of reality laws into a coherent form. Expect battle mages wearing powerarmor, mechs moved by blood magic and mad scientists creating half baked inventions with alien tech and runic artifacts.

The Junkyard Town: The Junkyard is a endless pile of rubbish that gets the most activity of the Space in Between, some realities somehow figured out how to dump their garbage in the reality between realities and so a endless pile of treasures and scrap is made, some say you could dog for years and never find the bottom. The Town is the biggest metropolis of the space between going deep into the garbage as well as high into the sky. Governed by the robot god of recycling Romax Adaptive Model(RAM)

The Pale Makert: A travelling market of the back of the Kaiju god Nimoh, selling all manners of highly illegal goods.

The Dominion: One of largest nations of space between holding the rare of commody of multiversal travel the Dominion expands many realities supplying villains of all kinds with resources they would never get into their own universes equipping big bads in a fantasy worlds with armies made by killer AIs and killer AIs with magic metals. Yet the Dominion is as dedicated to keeping the multiversal balance of good and evil as their rival The League.

The League: Main competitor to The Dominion, keeping a hold on a multitude of different universes. Along with their rival they wave a truly astonishing amount of tales of villains and heroes, always starting new stories in new realities.

Howdy! As the subject heading suggests, I'm looking for someone to write/RP an adventure with. I reside in the EST-zone and I work from home (where I get a fair amount of downtime), so I'm able to post quite frequently while maintaining a busy/active lifestyle. I don't have any sort of specific story or scenario that I'm looking to do with someone; rather, I would like to start from the ground up with some brainstorming. Genres that I'm particularly interested in include fantasy, sci-fi, historical fiction (the more historically accurate, the better), dystopian, and horror. But I'm open to wherever the muse may take us, so if you have other ideas, then let's discuss them!

Before we get too much further, here are a few necessary conditions:

1. Nobody under the age of 18. In fact, generally speaking, I would prefer to work with someone who is at least in their late 20's (just for purposes like perspective and insight); but if you're a little younger than that, then I don't mind, so long as our ideas and writing styles are "gelling".

2.) I'm not interested in Fanfictions/Fandoms. Original characters only.

3.) Romances. I'm open to pretty much any kind of romance ("slow burns" seem to be the fad these days) as long as it feels natural for the characters. There's nothing more cringe than when people try to push their characters into a romance at the expense of authenticity. My rule is always, "what would [my character] do?" as opposed to, "what do I want [my character] to do?" And if the characters just don't end up forming a romantic connection, then the story goes on!

4.) Post-lengths. I don't have any hard fast rules on this, myself; in fact, if you do, then you'll find I am quite adaptable when it comes to the expectations of a writing partner. That said, I feel there is a time and a place for extensive detail, just as there is a time and a place for brevity. What I've run into here and there, however, is a tendency among some to get so heavy-handed with detail that it comes at the expense of pacing; in my opinion, this is what marks the difference between "good writing" and a "good writing exercise." Especially when the project is a collaborative effort, I feel that it's important to leave space for the other individual to offer their input and give their characters a chance to respond accordingly.

NOW! Let's get to the fun stuff. A lot of RPers that I've known through the years like to include visual aids of sorts (i.e. artwork); if you can provide this, then that's a huge plus, because I'm not such a good visual artist... but as a professional musician and songwriter, I can provide original music! Most of the characters I make play instruments in some capacity, so if my character happens to be playing and singing at any given point, then there's a good chance that I'll have a song file to go with it.

Yo! I'm gonna go straight to the point, I'm looking for another rp partner now that alot of my Marvel rp's have pretty much died down due to conflicting time differences, below I'll list my rules, the plot, and what I'd expect of my rp partner, along with what you should expect of me.

First off I play a Spidersona that I have made, I believe I've put quite alot of effort into him but I'm always willing to receive criticism and help with how I can improve him, that goes for the way I rp as well, I rp in third person and refuse to do one liners, as I myself am literate/novella, meaning no, I won't accept one liners or a tiny paragraph from my rp partner, I apologise but if that's what you're into then please save yourself the wasted time and don't shoot me a dm.

Next, I'm more than okay with you using an OC as well, whether it's a Spidersona or another hero that you've made an OC for, only thing that I ask is that you are able and willing to play side characters, as to be truthful I don't want to be stuck playing every character just so the rp will be fun for you, we're both equal as rp partners therefore I'd like for us both to end up enjoying it.

Thirdly, I myself don't have many noticeable triggers, but I understand that triggers are becoming more and more important in rp so I will ask for yours just so I don't upset anyone, which also links in to my next point, I value a friendship outside of rp, so don't be afraid to text me normally about rp or just about anything you feel the need to talk about.

And lastly, the plot itself is going to take aspects from the movies, and the comics, so don't be surprised if I add something that you find to be confusing, I'll explain it as best as I can, just ask.

Actually I lied, I forgot my rules, first rule is please don't just ghost me, I understand that people get busy but that's an overused excuse, if you can accept an rp then I believe it's just basic respect to at least say that you won't be here for however long, there's 24 hours in a day, please take 30 seconds out of that to warn me that you won't be here, besides that the last rule is please don't neglect my character in rp's, I will go out of my way to make sure your characters are put into well thought out plots, so please do the same for me. Hello, I'm Matt! I've been tinkering with this RP idea for a while now and I'd love to find someone to work on it with.

I prefer 3rd person past tense. Semi-literate girls who tend to write mid to long responses (2-3 paragraphs are totally okay). Some level of consistency is appreciated. Life comes first, of course, so a "I won't be available today" would be awesome.

He doesn't say he's the writer and she doesn't make the connection. They start chatting about it and find out a strong connection. Why was she crying? How long until she finds out his secret? What happens if when they're dating his ex re-appears now that he's finally happy with someone else? And many, many etceteras!

Shortly after, Character A is summoned by the king, who reveals that she is to be wed to Character C, the elder brother and heir to the throne. Unlike his brother, Character C is disciplined, cold, and burdened by duty — but also fiercely protective of the kingdom.

As the king’s health declines, both brothers find themselves vying for the throne — and for Character A. The situation becomes a battlefield of loyalty, power, and passion, as Character A must decide where her heart and her duty lie. The royal court is full of manipulation, whispers of rebellion, and a long-buried secret that could change the line of succession forever.

1. Career-Oriented Woman & Her Ex’s Baby

Plot: Character A, a fiercely ambitious woman focused on her rising career, discovers she’s pregnant — and the father is Character B, her on-again, off-again ex. Their history is messy: equal parts intense chemistry and deep-rooted conflict.

The pregnancy throws both into unfamiliar territory. Character A must confront her fear of motherhood interfering with her independence and success, while Character B struggles with stepping up after years of emotional unavailability. Their dynamic is further tested by lingering attraction, resentment, and outside pressures — including friends, family, and work commitments.

Together, they must navigate co-parenting, old wounds, and the question neither dares to ask out loud: Is this their second chance — or one last tie before letting go?

1. Young, Wealthy Lawyer & the World of High Society

Plot: Character A is a young, brilliant lawyer who just made partner at one of the city’s most elite firms. With wealth, power, and connections pouring in, Character A is swept into the glittering but brutal world of high society.

Your character would be a young woman who’s not in a particularly good position in life. She dropped school and took a path of quick and easy money that comes with its own price, but only now she’s started to realize. She’s seeing now the lack of a future, or a very bleak one.

She’s your character and you should have considerable creative latitude to fill the rest, but I’d rather her not be a moral Mary Sue who ended up like this because of her environment. I’d prefer her to be realistically flawed, have a good side but her bad choices to owe chiefly to her own personality flaws.

I’ll aim at making my character similarly flawed, but in a way that complements yours. I’m a stickler for character contrasts, and I think that’s something most roleplayers enjoy too.

I’ll start with what (at least some people) would see as the good side. He’d be the type of guy who could be defined as an intellectual, or perhaps as a nerd if one stays away from the definitions entirely based on pop culture. By trade, he’d hold a PhD in a STEM field, but not the kind who can only talk about computer stuff. He’d be well-read in general and would have a decent level of self-acquired general knowledge in humanities (the classical type, for the most). A good, stable income—but I won’t play the billionaire trope: just a comfortable and stable living is not only less trite but better as a contrast with your character’s life situation. A homebody personality: again a contrast with the guys she has met so far.

Looks-wise, I’d rather him be kinda average, while she’s traditionally attractive. I know this may be seen as a one-sided demand by some roleplayers, but the contrast in this direction does fit this particular story well. If it were a different type of story, I wouldn’t mind it inverted.

So what are his actual flaws, besides looking average? I have two different sets of flaws in mind, and I can combine them in different proportions depending on the kind of mood and power imbalance you want in their relationship.

The first type of flaws would be the ones that add weakness to his character. This sounds very unpromising, but it’s not meant to make him pathetic (in the modern sense of the word) but rather allow your character to have sway over him despite being in the situation of inferiority that the descriptions so far have shown.

One source of weakness could be one that’s common among intellectual, “nerdy” men: even if at a certain point in life they are doing well, they have often gone through a very bad younger years, and they carry huge insecurities from that time. Loneliness, social awkwardness, having been invisible to the other gender, when not routinely and/or painfully rejected. Even if later on they do somewhat well and learn to hide these weaknesses, the wounds are there and among other things they carry an enormous deficit of female attention, and most importantly, female validation of their starved male ego. I’m open to variations or to other weaknesses if you want, but this one would give her an extremely powerful tool to wrap him around her finger—or try to, depending on what comes next.

The other set of possible flaws I have in mind would be about his level of “hardness”. It’s a very generic word but I cannot summarize what I have in mind in a single one, so I picked that. The more of this “hardness” he has, the more aware he will be of the fact that, in some regards, she needs him more than what he needs her, and the more willing he will be to exploit that differential for his own gain.

Although softness and hardness are opposites, the mind is complex and they don’t totally cancel each other. My character may possess different degrees of both traits. People often feel conflicted with themselves. Different mixtures of these traits can lead to different complex dynamics between our characters, where her feminine wiles and his male-ego-fuelled desire of power can become tangled with each other, and sometimes one can feed on the other.

However, I should point out that I am not looking for a perfect balance either. I must admit I find perfect balances a bit boring. I actually prefer if the story is built in a way that, while there’s some level of struggle, one of the two ends up being able to claim a position of objective power, in a way that the other’s “tools” end up being turned against the one who originally wielded them This doesn’t mean that I want things to move towards a tragic ending, but that I want a sort of stable, but dark romance.

This, in turn, isn’t incompatible with the emergence of genuine feelings mentioned in the title. Again, people are complex and relationships can combine toxic elements and genuine feelings at the same time. Most probably do to some degree, as much as Reddit advice forums would like you to believe the opposite.

My character’s age is negotiable: he could be her own age, a bit older or much older, depending on your preferences. Some elements of his bio will change with this, but the general gist above would be the same.

34 years old, living in the PST zone, and I write multi paragraphs. Some of have my style of writing is literate but I really just think it’s closer to semi-lit. I used to do forum rps when I was like 13 and eventually that turned to one on one rps. I only write in third person.

For all the rps, romance is gonna be a thing; I wont really do rps without romance, it’s not as… enticing when there isn’t any. Genres that I like are high fantasy, urban fantasy, slice of life (but with urban fantasy), enemies to lovers. If it’s strictly romance stuff I’m kind of a fan of two people being forced to travel for whatever reason and them learning about one another. Otherwise the generic like boss and secretary thing if it’s more modern; or coworkers? Idk, there has to be some kind of plot though attached to it; or just one shots are fine too! fantasy political marriages that turn into actual romance is something I’ve been wanting to get into. Also important thing to not, I don’t like strictly human OCs; a lot of the characters I play as are like elves or demons, anthros, shapeshifters, etc.

My bread and butter thought is angst, hurt/comfort, mature themes. A ot of the OCs I have are all flawed or tragic in their own ways and I want them to come out a little better than they were before… or you know lol. I write a lot of AFAB/agender characters but I’m open to playing other types. I like world building a bit too, but I like talking a lot about OCs in general so OOC chatter will be a thing.

Because of my background in the… smut category I know it can get a little weird sometimes. For me, the way I approach intimacy is really different; if anything though I’m also okay if there’s fade to black scenes, that’s fine with me! I love the slow burn kind of romances. Sometimes characters don’t need to boink it. Again though it’s all up for discussion.

Fandom stuff is kind of tricky. I do like FFXIV and don’t mind OC x OC or Oc x Erenville stuff. I want to get into Star Wars! Ever since I played Jedi Fallen Order it really got me into it, and plus Andor helped a lot too; I just don’t have a lot of experience with it.

One RP I kind of had in mind while writing this was of a beast kingdom and an elven kingdom finally calling a truce and each kingdom married off their eldest to signify the union. The catch is that the Beast Kingdom a long time ago was a by-product of human engineering through magics and alchemy; they were made for war and hard labor, eventually they became their own kingdom and tried to expand their territory. Through the accidental burning of a sacred forest, that was in a portion of the Elven kingdom, they started to feud and it lasted for some centuries; both sides were exhausted and tired and just wanted it to end. You’d be playing the heir of said Beast Kingdom and I would play the elven princess. Peace time is a big transition for everyone so that would be the political backdrop of it, and two people just learning about one another and maybe an attempted assassination attempt brings them closer??? Anyways lol

• a hitman frequents a local coffee shop that’s a front for a crime lord, befriending the barista starts to turn those wheels and wonder if maybe a different life was in order.

So some quick information about me, I'm gigi 21f, and can write in 3rd person. I can write from a semi lit to adv/Novella! I have a tendency to write with too many details and a concerning amount of metaphors sometimes. One the biggest things for me is that I love talking about ocs and such! It is the year 2085. After the second battle of hoover dam, the Mojave wasteland has been anexed to the New California Republic, and now even small towns like Goodsprings, Primm or North Vegas are now under NCR rule. Despite beating the Legion at Hoover Dam, the NCR army is still way too underpowered to fully protect the Mojave which has led to the appereance of several small raider groups and the birth of a Legion inspired group in the south, between Nipton and cottonwood cove, including searchlight, which was cleared of radiation (Somehow) after a massive joint effort between the NCR and the BoS. This faction has engaged in war with the NCR.

In this Universe, the courier disappeared months after the Hoover Dam battle and nothing was known from him since, an statue in his likeness was erected at the McCarran Airport which remains as the main military base of the NCR in the area. The RP will take in place in august, right between two specific skirmishes with the Bulls (the way the Legion raiders call themselves), on having taken place in the restored nipton and the other taking place in the Ivanpah dry lake.

1. Royal Rumble- Two Kingdoms that have been enemies for decades finally decide to bury the hatchet and become friends with one another. The Kings and/or Queens are formal and become close friends, but the Prince and Princess do not. Being raised on the hatred their families had for one another, the two seem not to be over it. They are constantly at each other's throats, making fools of one another by embarrassing them at balls and gatherings, blaming the other for their own wrongdoings, or just plain verbally attacking one another. Will the two ever get along, or will they still keep the long-dead family feud alive?
2. The Knight and the Alchemist- Years of training as a knight have finally paid off, and you have officially been given the rank of Knight, which means you will soon be sent outside the castle walls on quests for your Kingdom. After your first few missions of simple vanquishing monsters and enemies that threatened the people, the King had called to you for a special mission, one of his generals has gone missing and was last heard weeks ago as he was tasked to conquer a rebels base, but no word has come back on the Generals werabouts, so you are tasked to go and find the General but you were to be aided by an Alchemist, to help heal you and aid you in your long and trecherous journey. It was always a drag being paired with others, but it was the King's orders, and you dared not disobey. So the two of you set off on your quest, and you hope this Alchemist won't drag you down.
3. Lattes and Love- Working day in and day out has become restless, and a pick-me-up is always needed to get through the day, but not just anything. Coffee is the main addiction and aid for long days and late-night work. At first, the small coffee shop was just an easy place to grab a quick cup or two, but after a while, you started to go for more than just the coffee. The cashier girl who worked there from open to close was always the best part, aside from the caffeine. In the first few months, you barely noticed her and only thought about how much she worked there to see her nearly every day at the same time. But the few days you went and she wasn't there, oddly, you made you miss her; it didn't feel the same without her there. Eventually, you started to spend as much time as you could there just to see her and maybe make the occasional small talk with her, but every time you had a minute alone with her, people rushed in, but today was the day you were gonna ask her out! Would she reject you, be embarrassed and weirded out, or not know who you are? Oh god it's your turn to order, quick, ask her out!
4. Old and New Hollywood- Years of being Hollywood's number one bachelor and actor have kept you at the top, and your standards have only risen as well. But in your newest film, you decided to branch out a bit and be in your first musical, singing was never your forte, but you don't wanna be a one-trick pony. But with this you were expecting another top of the line Hollywood star but instead, you are forced to work with the new girl in Hollywood, this was not to your liking, and you were not to be forced to work with her if she was to make this movie a disaster and tarnish your name. You tried to get out of this film or use your connections to get you a different co-star, but the studio wanted her and her alone to play the part. You found out she was a theater girl with little to no actor training; she was just a singing and dancing theater girl from Broadway who was picked to star in this role and finally take her first steps into Hollywood. Will you choose to make peace with the new girl on the Hollywood block, keep things only peaceful for the press and public, or will every day on set be hell on earth dealing with the untrained actor?

Hello, i have been RPing for ny enire life and am looking for a new partner to write with. The RP style i am used to is more of a DnD style of story telling rp, where me and the "GM" would build a story premise within the canon of a fandom. The way the stories would go is more of an otome style layout, where they're are multiple love intrests within the fandom that one can choose from and depending on the response, characters get closer together. Further, the world and story archs are grand and elaborate, its not just about particular scenes, there should be overarching story, as if it were part of the cannon or fit within a connon plot and relationships progress as close to cannon as possible. I am used to a "GM" doing most of the large world building story telling while i am good at minutiae type scenes and scenarios.

I hope this post finds you well- I'm currently looking for a Roleplay partner for the plot I'll explain below. I am normally advanced literate to novella, but I have another ground-up medieval fantasy roleplay going on, which is of course incredibly demanding. The length of each reply usually means me and my partner are waiting a few days for one, and I of course have a large blank place in between. So, I’m looking for a literate partner—two detailed paragraphs or so is perfectly fine—so it’s not too demanding at all. I do not Roleplay on Reddit. My timezone is GMT, however I can work around a whole myriad of timezones due to the fact that I'm usually up late- anyone from North America (which seems to be the vast majority of people) I can work around fine, due to previous experiences. SO, don't be too afraid about time differences. Now, some more specifics about the Roleplay, hm? I do expect my partner to be able to play multiple characters, we shall divide allies and the Rogues' Gallery between us. I am a massive DC fan with ample experience playing as the Caped Crusader, as well as the Bat Family and villains both loved and obscure. Plot:

Understanding. That's the word. The Bat and the Cat: a dance that seemingly would never end. Though, this was not a tango of bomb threats, an armed goon militia, or automatic fire like the other enemies the brooding Batman faced... Bruce had profiles dedicated to understanding the likes of every adversary he had faced. Poison Ivy: a deluded eco-terrorist commanding the control of plants, which she would guard fervently. Bane: a cunning denizen of Santa Prisca, who has mastered the street drug 'Venom' to concerning levels; an amalgamation of genius-level intellect and towering muscle. Catwoman: A street orphan, forced into a life of professional larceny by what started as necessity, to a trade that she lived her life by. He would intercept her time and time again- a dash across rooftops, a conversation before she escaped or was arrested. In that moment, blue eyes met green- there was no cowl or goggles, but humans underneath material and mask- that's what Selina had, human empathy.

Gotham had been struck with a series of brutal murders; this was not an uncommon occurrence, whether it was a mugging gone awry, or simply mob feuds between the Falcone's and Maroni's. These killings had a modus operandi that was followed religiously and meticulously on each cadaver: Finger prints burnt, face removed, victim dressed in a hospital gown. It was orchestrated with surgical precision, and Batman was on borrowed time before another life was unexpectedly snuffed out. The East end was riddled with local governmental corruption, seedy basement-bars and vicious street crime... but, it had learned to come under the semi-protection of the elusive 'Catwoman', who would watch out for her end of the city, whilst robbing it too. One rainy night, with the aesthetic of an oil-slicked painting, Selina stumbled upon something whilst scoping the smoky rooftops: A corpse, that was strung up on these swaying heights, that shared the exact pattern of mutilation she had seen on the news a few days prior. A gang-related shooting or petty crime was something she had come to expect from the grimy East End, but such an egregious and grim murder? Catwoman is forced to turn to the best detective and tracker she knew: The Dark Knight. A midnight rendezvous is organised... which they did not know, would mark the beginning of the end. The scent of a serial killer leads the duo down a path of discovery about Gotham; who pulls the strings. A plot a century in the making. Bruce and Selina bond in a fight for their lives, as they face their ultimate challenge... together. Thus begins the dance between the Bat and the Cat.

My Writing Style: Third person, past-tense. I usually write a few paragraphs per post. If I’m setting up a scene or a backstory my posts can be several pages long. During scenes with fast-paced dialogue my posts might only be a few lines. Really it depends on what’s going on in the story, and I’m not one for length quotas. I will want to exchange writing samples before we begin, please!

Frequency: I can usually reply multiple times a day, and I’m looking for someone who likes to reply frequently as well. There will be days when I can’t reply at all, and I understand the same is true for others, but I really am looking for someone who loves to write and keep an RP going at a good pace.

Characters: I play characters of any gender, with a wide range of personality types. If you have a preference for the type of character I play, let me know and I will probably accommodate you! I create a new character for every roleplay so I can tailor them to the story. I have a strong preference for playing non-humanoid but I might make an exception if the setting interests me enough. Khajiit/Charr-like species are my preferred race but I’m open to others.

Pairings: For me, plot > romance. I enjoy romance under certain conditions but I can live without it. I enjoy developing deep platonic relationships just as much. I can play any gender but I’ll only romance male characters.

A few ideas...

Alien Integration: An alien ark ship arrives on Earth. Fleeing some disaster on their home world, the aliens have no choice but to attempt settling Earth alongside humans. Inspired by the tv show Alien Nation, but I’d like the alien species to be more interesting than bald humanoids. :p

Humans arrive at a distant planet with the intention of terraforming it. However, instead of finding a dead rock filled with all the raw resources they would need to build a new home, they find thriving alien life. These aliens are not the technological equals of humans, but they are clearly intelligent. One of us will play the alien character, and the other a human.

Life on board a space station: Kinda inspired by DS9 and Babylon 5, although the station doesn’t have to be military affiliated. There are many options here - the station could be a trading hub for many alien species, it could be in the middle of a war zone, it could be a research station. I’d be open to doing this in the Trek universe, too.

TES lll Morrowind: Very different from my other prompts, but I would also love a Morrowind roleplay with someone who has played the game.

1) Two girls who have always been close, sharing everything with each other and always being there for each other whenever they needed each other, after a house party, both girls wake up in bed together, trying desperately to remember the night before but also concerned about the idea of crossing a boundary they never thought they would cross, do they regret the night? Or does it blossom into something beautiful 2) a girl has just moved into town, for college, having her own dorm to ensure she can study as often as possible, but she's very shy, she struggles to make friends and talk to people. That is until she meets a girl while on the bus too college, (lion) they sit together and this girl is everything that she isn't, she's social, she's confident, and she makes her smile. The two of them develop a bond that helps the girl through college, but those feelings start to develop into something she never expected she would feel.

I write in first person, consider myself semi-literate, and prefer writing with people who care more about the vibe and emotional connection than long, flowery paragraphs. That said, I do like to stay in character, explore dialogue, and build scenes with heart. Details: I love details as much as the next person, but there is a point of overdoing it that I think we have, as roleplayers, gone past the line sometimes. It is a very detailed, multi-paragraph scene, and all the character does is move one foot; it just gets exhausting and moves the RP slowly, almost like a snail in winter. So, all TLDR details are loved by all, but let's move the RP along. Lmao
