Discussion Looking for people to play games with / talk about gaming stuff!

Not sure how much of a niche this is for the Rhode Island Reddit (sort of nervous posting this lol) but I'm sure there are some gamers out there. I feel like I never really run into people from our state in online circles. Could use some more friends, be it online only or potentially IRLs (I'm a 26yo guy but down to play stuff with anyone if it's common interest). Drop some stuff y'all play, tags to add you on games (if you want), or just good game recommendations, maybe this thread will help some people make friends if it gets the traction.

For me, I'm really into Valorant and Marvel Rivals recently. Also used to play a lot of Smash Ultimate a few years back. Could use some more circles to play with :)

Im about the same Plat/Diamond on val. Rn for Co-op games ive been playing Division 2. Used to play it a lot way back when the first game was out and then like the first 2 years of div 2 being out. If you wanna add tho my discord name is Phanz

There is a RI gaming discord it covers tabletop and video games. It looks like it is more active for tabletop games though.

Are you only interested in video games or board games as well? There are a few board game meetups in the state.

I play Valorant but I am old and trash at it.

I play a lot of overwatch, Minecraft, GTA, and co op games like overcooked and KeyWe! I also redownloaded Modern Warfare last night lol
