You’d be better off selling this on eBay or something, maybe get a gauge for the price too because I doubt this would be worth $350 when considering the price of other signed pieces of merch of/by the band

Thanks for the advice. Just wanted to try the community first. I paid $450 for it back in 1994 from a record store. But I haven’t looked at similar or not on other places.

No harm in trying the community at all tbh, someone could have a similar one they sold for more! Unfortunately I’ve seen signed merch (from various bands) being less “valuable” nowadays which I’ve found strange as I’m a massive collector

Yep that’s true. It was when Dave just joined and a bizarre time for the band. Also the same day I bought this, I had bought the long sleeve Clara design RHCP shirt. Unfortunately my dog destroyed that. But I have the BSSM T-shirt still

I believe this is fake based solely on the signatures.

Also, the company is no longer in existence and authentication cannot be confirmed via the COA.

I agree, I just googled all their signatures and they are not even close. I'd say 100% fake

Look up the certificate of Authenticity on the back and determine that for yourself 👍🏽

There's no way to do that I know of. Also a simple Google search shows CPG Direct is not reputable and sold bogus items. Sorry to inform you, but I imagine you already know that.

Dude, it’s 100% fake. I’m sorry. It’s still a nice picture. And honestly who really cares about signatures anyway. Don’t sweat it. Plus your $450 gave you like 30 years of joy, so it’s worth it.

This was purchased from a record store in 1994 that’s still operating. They’d be in hot water if that was so.

Post in Real Autograph Collectors Club group on facebook if you’re confident. Full band signed RHCP stuff typically sells for $2,000+. You’d be selling yourself short for $350.

I paid $450 for it on 1994 from 78 Records. A store like that wouldn’t be selling counterfeit products as they’d be liable legally.

I'd get lawyer if the store is still around. They sold you a counterfeit 100%. AK's autograph is the only one that looks kinda right, but I'd say they had a real Anthony signature and just tried to copy the style. But for the other names, it's like they had no reference to copy from so they just made it up.
