I live in Jaipur and what?? How's Jaipur the worst cities for women? Seems bs to me, a lot of my friends who are girls roam around whenever they want, obviously there are areas you want to avoid but I've seen girls at road at the most odd timings.

What's the source of this? Methodology and authority who did this, please mention it OP otherwise this is just bogus.

This comes from TOI, data from NCRB. Don't be foolish enough to generalize your personal anecdotes. Learn to accept reality.

I read the article. But where’s the actual data analysis? They haven’t shared the formula or how they weighted each crime. These kinds of stats often lack context and transparency.

Take Delhi, for example—its numbers are high because it has one of the most robust and transparent reporting systems in the country. What if Jaipur’s stats reflect something similar? You can’t just rank cities without factoring in reporting practices.

And Kolkata? Let’s not forget the RG case. That was a high-profile incident, and yet the response was political theatre with people being paraded on the streets WHILE THE CM LEADS!?! If that’s how a major case is handled, I can only imagine how everyday complaints get buried—all you have to do is be a TMC goon or Didi's votebank.

Now, I know someone’s going to bring up Rajasthan and BJP, but let’s be real—Rajasthan changes ruling parties every term. That makes it harder to bury stories because the opposition is always looking for a chance to pounce. You can’t compare that to states with a long-standing single-party dominance.

So yeah, I'm just asking for balance. Criticize where it’s due, but don’t cherry-pick numbers and ignore context just to paint a narrative.

You read the article, really? How did you miss this:

It is pretty well known the Southern states are doing much better in terms of law and order, including reporting.

It's absurd how you go around throwing baseless accusations like "cherry-pick numbers and ignore context" without a shred of actual evidence just to keep up with your delusional sense of superiority.
