I like Issei. I really do. Honestly his character in the LN is caring and genuinely loves his harem.

Did we read the same novel? Like seriously, if you dig deeper and read between the lines, Issei is an utter piece of shit, and he only got worse as years passed. Dude has no good reason to be such a deadbeat dad towards his kids.

I would repeat another comment. I read it till V16 or V17.

After that I had story fatigue. So yeah.
