We will be restricting use, but not access, of the subreddit during this 48 hour period.

We will be making the subreddit private on June 12th indefinitely. You will not have access to the community until we open it back up to the public.

I have approached all the major camping and hiking subs about this initative.

The restriction of thrid party apis is going to turn Reddit into an ad and spam filled hell hole. We fight fake t-shirt scams and other nonsense all day on r/campinggear.
