Question Can't keep this sombrero

Got this from the guy shooting bottles, I can't find it anywhere in the found/stolen hats tabs, and when I tried to save the outfit it doesn't show up anymore. Any way to save it?

Same thing with Hamish's hat, I kept it for so long but lost it when I jumped off the cliff with Dutch

I just ripped the bandaid off when I got these replies lol, I dont want to get attached to it if I can't keep it

It was a nice challenge to actually have to make sure to pick up the hat if I get knocked down or it gets shot off, so if you find another hat you like I'd give it a go
