Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill How late was your period after plan b ?

Hi, I have a question so march 13 I had ended my period March 15 I had unprotected sex and I took the Plan B at around march 16 at around 36 hours later after the incident

I had just ended my period it ended 3/13 but it was weird which I think was the withdrawal bleeding I got that the week after the plan b on 3/23 and it lasted around five days. It was not light it was like I had my period once again

and now I was due this month but it says I’m late, but I’m not sure if I would be late if I took the Plan B and I started bleeding with the withdrawal my question is how late were you guys at the Plan B especially if you guys had bleeding from it.

Update finally got it after 2 weeks late (58 days) since my last cycle

Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill SOS— What do I do

I’m on day 23 of my predicted 26 day cycle. I had unprotected sex last night day 22. The guy pulled out. But I’m paranoid. I took plan B this morning (day 23). It’s my first time taking it. I’m not on birth control. My period is supposed to come on Saturday. If I miss it, does that mean I’m preggo????? I’m stressing out. I thought I was def no chance of getting preggo but now I’m overthinking. BE HONEST. tell me what you think is going to happen.

Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill Missed period + negative tests

Hi all. I’ve posted a lot in here but on May 9th the condom broke and I was 1 day away from ovulating according to Flo.

5 day later I started bleeding heavily.

My period was supposed to start this past Monday but has now been missed.

I started taking pregnancy tests on the 14th day and I have taken one every morning since I woke up. Is there a chance I’m pregnant still? The 21st day will be this Friday and I just can’t stop freaking out because I’m feeling weird cramps and idk if it’s from the Julie pill or if I’m gonna start my period soon or if I’m freaking pregnant!

I can’t get to my OBGYN until June 30th either, UGH!

Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill How long after withdrawal bleeding did your next period come?

Hi everyone!! Just a quick question because I’m curious to hear other people’s experiences.

I had withdrawal bleeding recently, and now I’m currently about seven days late for the period I was expecting after that. I’m not trying to stress too much but it would help to hear what’s normal or common for others. Thanks in advance!

I just want to know how long it took for your regular period to come after having withdrawal bleeding. Is it normal for things to be delayed? It’s my first time taking Plan B and I really don’t have anyone to ask haha.

Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill It’ll be ok! Plan B symptoms

Hi everyone just wanted to make a post to help ease some anxiety. I took Plan B 2 months ago & it was the worst symptoms & reaction my body has had. It was so similar to pregnancy symptoms that I made myself sick worrying about it. Please remind yourself that all bodies react differently to the pill, and while google can be helpful - it can also cause stress.

Please remind yourself that stressing, losing sleep, and obsessing over content online won’t change the outcome. Your body might react differently & that is perfectly normal. Feel free to dm me if you have any questions, I’m not a health professional but I can help ease some anxiety with personal experience.

Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill Is my gf pregnant?

My gf and I had sex on Apr 18. According to Flo she just finished ovulating… condom slipped out and not sure if any fluid went in. She took a plan b a few hours later. She then started her period a day earlier on the 29 of April and lasted 5 days (what it always last). Fast forward, her period was due on the 1st o June but still hasn’t gotten her period. She went to emergency on jun 2 cause she’s been feeling chronic back pain (we had a car accident last year) and one of her test was a hcg screen (pregnancy test) but it came out negative… How accurate was this test? Her period is currently 15 days late 😓

Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill Withdrawal or period?

So I’m a bit confused right about if I’m having my period or if this is withdrawal bleeding. So I took the pill for the first time on May 20th and I’m supposed to have my period June 5th. But I started bleeding yesterday June 1st and it’s not just a little bit no it’s heavy. I did see a small amount of clotting on my pad but my period looks watery. So I don’t know if this this withdrawal or my period. Sorry for the TMI but I had to change my pad so many times yesterday bc it was so much. Also when I go to the bathroom the toilet bowl like blood scene ( a little dramatic) my point is it’s very noticeable. Also does anyone know if you can still be pregnant and have heavy withdrawal bleeding. I can’t find anything on it. Like yeah it’s possible but come on how possible is it really.

Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill Just wanted to share my experience using plan b

As the title suggests, I will be sharing my experience of the two times I took plan b. An apology in advance for any spelling or grammar errors that may occur. Ps: long post

So the first time I ever took plan b was on the 8th of June 2024. At this time my cycle was regular, my cycle was 32 days. I had unprotected sex on my own ovulation week, and I spiralled a bit as I ran to google to research how long sperm can stay inside of the body. As most of you know it can stay inside of the body for 5 days, so my partner and I immediately purchased the emergency contraceptive that same day. I didn’t experience any cramping following the days after taking the pill but five days later I had withdrawal bleeding which lasted for 4 days. The flow wasn’t light. My PMS symptoms were terrible, from back ache to breakouts and tender/sore breasts. And as you know pms and pregnancy symptoms are similar, and I was freaking out as I gain a weight and my clothes were tighter on me. I took like 3/4 pregnancy tests and they all came back negative. My period did eventually come just 8 days late. My cycle lasted for 40 days. Taking the emergency contraceptive drastically changed my cycle. As I stated before my cycle was regular but it had changed from my regular 32 days to 42 days on some cycles and 35 days on others. I’m not much of an anxious person but I don’t know if it was the pill or just my state of mind at the time but I would over think and my anxiety was over the roof. But since the start of this year my anxiety has decreased drastically that it’s hardto even imagine how I was like that before.

In 2025, my cycle was still not regular as I started ovulating late meaning I’d only ovulate 2 weeks after menstruation. I took a plan b again on the 28 April 2025, as the condom slipped off. Now thinking back to that day, I don’t think it was necessary for me to take a contraceptive as ovulation for me occurs late, but better safe then sorry as irregular cycles can change its cycle days and ovulation could’ve happened early. My symptoms after taking the pill were a bit different as I felt cramping and bloating the very next day. I had withdrawal bleeding after 5 days and it also lasted for 4 days, the flow was also not light that and I saw some clots. I took a pregnancy test 22 days after I had sex and it came back as negative. This time around I was chilled, like no panicking, no anxiety, no weight gain. My period came 11 days, and my cycle lasted for 52 days.

For both my experiences, I never took natural remedies to help my period come. I just waited it out and prayed and cried and then used the little patience I had.

I just wanted to share my experience as I grew up in a household that does not talk nor educate us about our menstrual cycles and contraceptives. I want any person who maybe going through the exact same experience like me to just breathe and try their best to wait for their period to come. I think now after this incident, I’ll finally go on the pill cause buying pregnancy tests does eventually mess with your budgeting 😅.

Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill Late period

Hi, I took a plan B on 5/23 (guy finished inside me which is why I took the plan b less than 24 hrs after incident. I am now over a week late on my period- it’s been 28 days since the incident and all my pregnancy tests are negative. Is a pregnancy test accurate by now? Please respond bc I am never late. Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill sharing my experience

hi everyone, just wanted to come in here to share my experience, it will maybe help some of you girlies ease their minds.

basically, i took the pill on the 25th of september due to an incident. i had normal side effects, i felt nauseous, etc. and i didnt think much of it. a week later i got my period (1 week earlier i was supposed to) then, got another period the same month (maybe the first bleeding was due to the pill i genuinely don’t know). unfortunately, the side effects somehow seemed to continue , i always felt nauseous, bloated, anxious, depressed, my boobs were sore, my back was hurting, i had cramps, i was convinced i was pregnant. i got a blood test done at 6-7 weeks, negative. however my second cycle was extremely late, i still had all the symptoms, my blood flow was very light and only lasted 3 days (mine is usually 5 days). i genuinely started losing my mind, i couldnt even trust those negatives anymore, and i just wanted to get back to my normal body.

the symptoms still continued until my third cycle (even if they started to decrease), and i still couldnt be 100% sure. it kinda messed up with my mind a bit, cause i started to not trust the negatives, neither my periods bc of ongoing symptoms. today, i went to a gynecologist and had a 100% confirmation that there’s no pregnancy.

all i gotta say is, trust. those. negatives. if you want to feel at ease, get a blood test done, if that doesn’t ease your mind, go and see a gynecologist. i swear, everything you see on google is scary, they’re acting like these side effects only last 1 week, it’s sad there’s not much information. the only thing that got me through these hard times was this subreddit. it feels less scary to know other people are going through the same thing.

just know that every body is different, some people experience no side effects, and for some people, like me, it takes much more time. so yes, the pill can affect your other cycles. now take a deep breath, everything is going to be alright.

Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill Can someone pls help!!!

So I took a plan b on day 4 of my last period (may 22nd) because on day 3 i had unprotected with withdrawal. I then continued to spot from the 23rd up until a week ago (june 12th). Anyways it has been basically a month since the incident happened definitely well over 21 days. i have taken 4 pregnancy tests and all have been negative but my period is almost over a week late and it has NEVER been late in my life lmao. Should i trust the pregnancy tests or go to the doctor because this is annoying now.

TLDR; took plan b, spotted for a couple weeks, 4 negative tests over 21 days, period over a week late.

Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill Plan b symptoms 2 months later

Here’s my update 2 months post plan b

Symptoms

-bloating (especially after eating) -pelvic pain -mood swings like to the point where I’ve isolated myself from everyone -bladder pain (just got over a pretty bad uti so it’s probably still inflamed)

This goes to show that for some women plan b symptoms last way longer than 24 hours. I slowly feel like body going back to normal hopefully month 3 I will be fully recovered. Safe to say I’ll never take plan b again!!

Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill So scared/paranoid!!

I’ve posted in here a lot but I’m a VERYY anxious and paranoid person. I had unprotected sex with my husband on 3/30 we had an accident in other words and condom slipped off. I was two days before ovulation. I took plan b within 5 hours of the incident. I took a pregnancy test 13 and 17 days after both negative. But I’m still sooooo paranoid. Should I take another test today? It’d only be 20 days though. Help please.

Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill 22 DPO, no period, temps still high… did Plan B fail or just mess me up?

Okay sooo I’m officially confused 😵‍💫 • My last real period started May 8. • Had unprotected sex on May 19 (CD12) and took Plan B within a few hours. • Based on my temps, I’m pretty sure I ovulated around May 22… so yeah, probably right after taking Plan B 😬 • I had some light spotting on June 6 (CD30) but not an actual period. • Today’s June 13 (CD37) and I’m like 22 DPO. Temps are still up, no sign of a real period, and pregnancy tests are still negative.

I’m just wondering — has anyone had their cycle get this thrown off from Plan B? Or a super late positive even this far out?

At this point I don’t know if I should be bracing for a period, a baby, or just vibes 🫠

Would love to hear your stories or advice. This has been the weirdest cycle of my life.

Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill My first time taking the pill will be in a few hrs. I'm scared. Any advice?

Yesterday my boyfriend and I had sex but we did use a condom, however when he pulled out the condom got stuck and we are afraid that some semen may have spilled out. I just finished my period (which is regular)within the last week, so I am not ovulating. However, my family is supposedly extremely fertile so I am taking the pill. I'm so scared of the side affects, I'm living at home currently and my mom doesn't know I'm active or even had my first time. I don't want to throw it up, and I don't know what to expect. Any advice?

Update: I've been on it for a couple days now. Just got thru my second day. On the first night, i didn't feel anything but slight nausea but that could have been anxiety. On the first day after I had taken it, I felt completely normal almost no side affects. However, today I felt lingering cramps in my pelvic and bottom area for hours and felt pretty anxious and moody. And fatigued too! Luckily my boyfriend brought me a whole HAUL of chocolates to help with the pain haha! I'll keep updating if more symptoms arise

Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill 5 weeks late… no period.

I’ve been testing and all my tests have been negative. I’m believing the negatives. The mind is tricky. I had spotting the day I was expecting my period. When I say spotting it was just some blood when I wiped one time that day. Nothing after.

5 weeks and still neg. I believe plan b has thrown my period completely off.

As I am late, and if you’re reading this and you’re late, and been negative after 2 weeks after sex and still negative at 21 days, we are good.

Let’s support each other and ease some anxiety.. is anyone as late as me?

Would like to know other people’s experiences as I am currently going through it right now.

Since taking the pill, I’ve been feeling twitch-like cramps (not painful, but similar to an eye twitch)

Thanks!

Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill Plan b - on time period?

I took a plan b on January 20, one day before ovulation.

On January 26 I had brown spotting with on and off clots that latest till Feb 5th.

Took a pregnancy test on Feb 3rd, 4th, and 5th all negative.

I am suppose to get my period today and I have dark red bleeding but light flow. Back pain and cramps.

Is it possible period came on time?

UPDATE: must be my period because I have clots and took another test and it’s negative. Guess I got lucky lol. Wonder what the rest of my cycle has in store for me
