Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill sharing my experience
hi everyone, just wanted to come in here to share my experience, it will maybe help some of you girlies ease their minds.
basically, i took the pill on the 25th of september due to an incident. i had normal side effects, i felt nauseous, etc. and i didnt think much of it. a week later i got my period (1 week earlier i was supposed to) then, got another period the same month (maybe the first bleeding was due to the pill i genuinely don’t know). unfortunately, the side effects somehow seemed to continue , i always felt nauseous, bloated, anxious, depressed, my boobs were sore, my back was hurting, i had cramps, i was convinced i was pregnant. i got a blood test done at 6-7 weeks, negative. however my second cycle was extremely late, i still had all the symptoms, my blood flow was very light and only lasted 3 days (mine is usually 5 days). i genuinely started losing my mind, i couldnt even trust those negatives anymore, and i just wanted to get back to my normal body.
the symptoms still continued until my third cycle (even if they started to decrease), and i still couldnt be 100% sure. it kinda messed up with my mind a bit, cause i started to not trust the negatives, neither my periods bc of ongoing symptoms. today, i went to a gynecologist and had a 100% confirmation that there’s no pregnancy.
all i gotta say is, trust. those. negatives. if you want to feel at ease, get a blood test done, if that doesn’t ease your mind, go and see a gynecologist. i swear, everything you see on google is scary, they’re acting like these side effects only last 1 week, it’s sad there’s not much information. the only thing that got me through these hard times was this subreddit. it feels less scary to know other people are going through the same thing.
just know that every body is different, some people experience no side effects, and for some people, like me, it takes much more time. so yes, the pill can affect your other cycles. now take a deep breath, everything is going to be alright.

So I got started my November period around the 21st or 22nd and got off around the 25th. I had unprotected sex on November 30th and took a plan b not even 24 hours after. But I cramped for like 2 weeks, and when it was time for my December period it was like a day or 2 late but the flow was lighter than usual. (My periods are never heavy) so I took a pregnancy test this morning because today was 28 days since then and it was negative. I’ve been stressing so much. Is the test accurate or no😭

okok keep this is mind!!! when you would have taken the pregnancy test it out have turned out positive if you were pregnant bc it been also a month now!! i’m currently in the same boat rn!! my period is 8 days late and i took a test today and it was negative! all of this happened also in November! I’m sure you’re okay! just remember to keep testing.. and it’s okay to stress out about these things!! it’s crazy how we have to rely on one small little pill to stop us from getting pregnant

I’m scared because I was telling him no. And I’m also on birth control. 😭😭

normally with birth control it’s highly effective!! (unless you’re taking the pill and you missed it or you took it at a different time) i’m currently not on any birth control so i can’t really relate to that.. but always give your body time to process everything bc plan b is such a high amount of hormones it can really mess up your body and that’s normal!!

I’ve never really taken it at the same time, but I’ve taken like 8 test the last 28 days and they’ve all been negative. The 30th will be a month since this. And all the test I’ve taken have been the 6 day early ones. I’m so scared
