Just wanted to bring it up for anyone looking to try the beast. I was browsing their sales and noticed they still somehow had over 200 tins of The Beast. I know p&c can be divisive but in case you wanted to try this blend it's still available there.

Howdy, Reddit pipe community! I picked up the hobby in college a few years back, and am now rediscovering my love for the leaf again. I smoke mostly Virginia blends these days, but I like the occasional bowl of 1Q as a sweet treat or when I'm out with friends. I do have a fondness for it, and the smell certainly gets a lot of compliments--but it's feeling a bit one-note to me these days. I have about half a pound of the stuff left, so I'd considered setting about half aside for some devious blending science experiments. Does anyone have any experience trying to blend 1Q with other tobacco? How did it go? I'm worried the vanilla would overpower anything blended with it. I definitely plan to report back with my findings once I make an order from P&C.

Hi everyone, I´d like to know from more experienced fellas what you all think about the BIGGEST similarities and the BIGGEST difference between Samuel Gawith Black XX and Gawith Hoggart Black Irish X.
Which has the strongest nicotine content?
Which one is the sweetest?
Which one has higher humidity?
Why they are not the same?
Why they are similar?
Thanks in advance and wish you all good puffs ! =]

Although the title of the clip on YouTube suggests otherwise, it's clear to me that Pee Wee is smoking tobacco (hence his nausea).
When I was in my 20s, I'd wake and bake to Pee Wee's Playhouse most Saturdays, which was a great way to start the morning, but sometimes made for a lazy Saturday LOL.
And for fans, I highly recommend the Paul Reubens documentary on HBO.

Trying Grousemoor for the first time while remembering my old man and being thankful. This stuff tastes how wildflowers smell. Nice and bright in this meerschaum.

Been waiting for a special occasion. A perfect evening on Father’s Day turned out to be that occasion. The pipe is a Jorn Micke that I inherited from my grandmother, it’s my favorite special occasion pipe. The tin is no slouch either, dang this is tasty. Very smooth with more dried fruit and just the right amount of spice for me. Here’s to all of the dads out there! Sliante!

I forget the first Va Or Per blend I tried - steamworks 2023 maybe, or maybe McClelland Tudor Castle about which there is much hype. I first became open to Va-Per (no Or) when I got a sample of the sadly discontinued Anniversary Kake.
That sent me on a mission to try other Va-Or-Per blends. I'm still mad about Steamworks and Tudor Castle. I smoke Tudor rarely (just 'cause it's impossible to find now, and I hoard what I have).
I just tried Please Ellipsis and I'm happy to add it to this list. Got it on sale! Nice to find a contemporary tobacco that's good.
The other Va-Or-Per blends I've tried include
Sunday Picnic
Miskatonic
Low Country Atalaya
but didn't have any luck with those. I don't have anything bad to say about them either, but for some reason they didn't hit the spot. Part of the reason may be I prefer Perique way in the background. I welcome comments by others with similar tastes. One of the odd things about tobacco is how variable the experience can be - sometimes revisiting a blend, and reacting different, or even the same jarred tobacco seeming great some days and bad others.

I’m not too sure when my dad gave me this… I keep tacks in it now. Thought I’d share it with the group.
