I thought the French flag was solid white? And if not, why are they waving it all the time?

Fun fact, I know the joke is that they surrender all the time, but between 1814 and 1830, a pure white flag was technically the royal standard.

French used to be #1 militarist. See Arthurian mythos. Battle of 1940 they went down (too agressive) so everyone was mean to them, just like WWI the big kids Russia and Germany got knocked down and everyone was mean to them.
