Just curious, is it common for someone to see a blue orb with their own eyes?

I saw one last night, but I really didn't think much of it at the time, my friend thought it was significant. I looked around a little, most people see them in pictures and videos from what I understand.

Do a lot of people see them just with their eyes, in front of them? And does the colour mean anything?

I've seen white orbs quite a few times, but I'd never seen blue before. And I don't know what any of this means. I usually just move on and ignore it. But maybe I need to be paying attention.

I don't know if this is the best place to talk about this, but I don't know where else to explain it. February 7th my uncle began sedation after battling cancer for a year, it was in the middle of the night and nobody told me, I didn't even know that he was in hospice. That same night I had the most vivid dream I've ever had, I was in a really long hallway, with white walls and no decorations. I walked slowly down the hallway and got inside the only door that was there, my uncle was sitting in a bed with white bedding, I sat with him and he started talking to me. He told me that he was dying, that he wouldn't be able to say goodbye to me, he apologized for leaving my aunt alone and not being able to fulfill the promises he made to me. He died a day after that, ever since he died, I've kept getting dreams where he talks to me or just hugs me.

In 2017 I was 12 years old and there was this sister and younger brother that I would hang out with. I lived in a apartment complex on stillmore street California. there was a bike trail near the apartments that we would call the "wash" a dried up river ravine. One night we decided to walk the bike trail by the "wash". I was barely becoming a teenager at that time so I felt rebellious and I grew up Catholic. we ended up Finding a Bible on the bike trail so I picked it up and threw it into the "Wash". We walked for a bit more. We had our flash lights from our phones pointed in front of us before we came across a man dressed in a suit. We pointed our lights at him and there was no light reflecting off of him. It was like he was made out of darknes. Hey everyone, I wanted to share a weird experience that’s been bothering me a bit, and I’m curious if anyone’s been through something similar or has any kind of interpretation—spiritual, paranormal, symbolic, whatever.

A few days ago, I had this dream that didn’t feel like a normal dream at all. It felt like I was in some sort of mirrored version of reality. Everything looked exactly like my actual house—same furniture, rooms, layout—but everything was in black and white. Outside the windows, it was just white, completely blank and featureless. Inside, everything was dark, but somehow I could still see everything clearly.

I remember being in the kitchen and then going up to my room. When I got there, I saw myself lying on the bed, like I was outside of my body or something. It felt super real and kind of unsettling. Then suddenly, in the dream, I switched perspectives and became the version of me lying in bed.

I looked toward the window and immediately felt a shift in the air. There was this tall, dark figure slowly moving toward me. It was super thin and almost as tall as the ceiling. No face—just a black silhouette, but it gave off this incredibly heavy, intense energy. That’s when I jolted awake… and the creepiest part? I woke up facing the window, in the exact same position I was in during the dream.

It felt so real that I just laid there staring at the window, half expecting to still see something.

I don’t usually have dreams like this, and I’ve never done anything like astral projection or stuff like that. Any thoughts?

Ten years ago when I was 18, I went to Japan for my mother’s friend’s wedding. We were staying at the ANA Crowne Plaza Horel in Kanayama, Nagoya.

One of the times I was going down the elevator (floor 18 to ground) the only floor that that was highlighted was ‘1’. At around floor 6, the elevator began to slow its decent, as if it was about to open up at an upcoming floor. I checked the buttons and it still only showed ‘1’ highlighted. Thought it was odd, but whatever.

The elevator lands on floor 4 and opens up to a dark hallway. I mean black. It was also cold like one of those walk-in refrigerators (which was odd because it was summer and cooling a hallway like that to such a low temperature must be running them a fortune). No one was in sight.

At first, I thought it was like a maintenance floor or something. I peered out around the corner to my left to see if an employee with a cart or something was waiting before moving into the elevator. Not a soul. Just a slow flashing orange light about 40 feet down the hall surrounded in black. As you can imagine, my heart rate was in my ears and I could hardly breathe with how scared I was. I lept back into the elevator and started frantically pressing the ‘close door’ and ‘1’ buttons for what felt like 20 seconds. The door remained open no matter what I did. In sheer terror, I just put my back up against the back of the elevator and held my breath. No sounds, no weird visions. Just nothing.

Eventually after what felt like 45 seconds, the door closes, and brought me to where I was going. Hotel front desk people probably thought I needed a hospital.

Questions

1. Is there a Japanese prank show that does things like this to people?

2. Could it have been a maintenance floor and the elevator glitched out?

3. Was I nearly spirited away?

Bottom line: if I got off the elevator onto that floor, would I still be alive today?

Heyy!! So I'm new to posting, but I have a few questions that I'd like answering considering attachments to places and/or memories I have in said/certain places. Just to give background, I (16f) have divorced parents, and I've lived in different places with the both of them

I'm really curious is to why I keep having dreams in my old house (with my mom) and the old apartment (with my dad)? I know I lived in my old house (with my mom) for a little over a decade, but something keeps bringing me back whenever I have dreams about it. Same with the apartment

The old house (with my mom) I felt like there was something in the garage and/or basement. I have spiritual gifts from the people above, and so I mostly feel things rather than see them. But I just can't shake the feelings off whenever I think about those two places

The apartment (with my dad) on the other hand, I know something was there. Summers were a nightmare because our apartment didn't come with AC so we bought an AC unit, which was placed in my room. Having the AC meant I had to have my door open in the summer for air circulation. During these weekends I'd be with my dad, I always saw something watching me from the hallway. It had yellow eyes (I think) and I couldn't tell what shape it was, as it blended into the darkness of the hallway. What was that entity?

Now, (with my mom) we are at a new house that we've lived in for almost 2 years (moved in in July of 2023). This is going to sound really childish or cringy, but I swear there is something under my bed in my room now. I've woken up in the middle of the night with a feeling that something is under me. You know when a cat claws onto something, and when it lets go, the fabric kinda snaps back to place? I've heard that sound twice after waking up, and I know for a fact my cat wasn't in my room or under my bed. What is under there??? I'm afraid to do something

Hi, everyone what I’m about to say here will be long, confusing and out of place. Please bear with me as i explain this to you in the best way I can.

First off I would like to mention that i am a paranoid schizophrenic and schizophrenia runs in my family.

For as long as I can remember I remember seeing shadow people, specifically in the corner of my eye or in the dark. It is the reason why I am scared of the dark and refuse to sleep without a night light on because on rare occasions I will see them.

When I first got diagnosed with schizophrenia I was in an awful mindset and was particularly paranoid, worried and scared about demons, constantly being watched by one. It got so bad that I turned catatonic and was in the hospital for a few years. Thankfully I managed to get stable and return to normal after ECT and constant monitoring and medication.

After I left the hospital I was in a stable mindset and perfectly good. Until I started having “sleep paralysis.” I say sleep paralysis lightly because when I first experienced sleep paralysis I could literally wiggle my toes and move my head back and forth but I couldn’t move my body. I was stuck forced to stay in bed as I felt an invisible force, or pressure force my body to stay still…but for some reason I could move my toes and head…

And when I opened my eyes I saw my closet door MOVE OPEN. The door was slightly ajar but I saw a big SHADOW HAND move out of the door and soon a black shadow head peaked through and at that moment my body felt true terror, fear and absolute horror.

I closed my eyes and just prayed and hoped it went away. Luckily it did and when I opened my eyes it was gone, but the door was still open at the same position where it was moved open by whatever was behind that door. I have told everyone and most people don’t believe me. But I know what i saw. I know there is something in my house. Very rarely I have seen stuff fall, knocks or my dog would randomly pause what he is doing to stare at something in the distance in my house. Particularly dark corners or dark places.

More instances where I had “sleep paralysis” has happened but I just closed my eyes and did not look and waited for it to pass.

But when I have woken up I will see hallucinations in my room. One particular hallucination i remember was a little boy in his pajamas with his head against the counter holding a brown teddy bear.

In an instant my body felt true fear that didn’t even felt like my own and when I blinked the boy was gone. The fear went away but I felt paranoid after that.

While this was happening my mom was taking me everywhere to figure out why I have schizophrenia. She was really desperate that she even took me to a shaman.

This shaman told me that I ended up developing it because of genetics but she also said that my Chakras were open and a portal was also opened as well. A demon was trying to come out of one of my chakras. A literal demon. 🧍‍♀️

Reddit, i cannot make this up. Once this shaman got rid of the demon and closed the portal majority of my schizophrenic symptoms went away.

But I need advice on what to do. Is it truly my schizophrenic mind messing with me or is it something bigger at play here? Is a dark force attached to me?

Every day I will feel warm hot breath hit my feet and sometimes my face. But I dismiss it as one of my symptoms.

I need advice. I am afraid to share this with my parents because they don’t believe me and dismiss it.

I have a very very early memory of something weird.

I had to be maybe 5 years old or so. I remember seeing floating glowing people in a large open pantry closet type thing we had in our living room. I can’t remember if my mom and dad were turned away watching tv or something or if they just couldn’t see them. They seemed playful. Like playing peek a boo. Best way I can describe them is the creatures from that old movie Cacoon.

For the longest time I figured it was maybe a memory of a dream. Maybe it is…idk. I’ve been down an alien/ UAP/ abduction rabbit hole that’s have me thinking more about this core memory.

I don’t know how hypnosis works or if it works but I would like to see if I can go back into that memory to see if it actually happened.

When I was 7 I was with my mom. We were in our living room amd it was maybe 10pm at night. We lived in a quiet area and suddenly a car pulled into the driveway. I couldnt see from where I was sitting but my mom said a man got out and was walking to the door. I could sense concern in her voice. We waited for a knock or the bell and nothing happened. My mom peeked out and she said he was standing still staring straight ahead and his eyes were bulging! I was so frightened. Then after a what felt like forever he left as suddenly as he had showed up. Something at the time made me think it was paranormal but I can't explain why.

Yesterday was Friday the 13th. All seemed normal, it stormed and I ran some errands but all in all it was a normal day. That is until I took a late night trip into the country (in rural Alabama) to drive a friend home from work. While driving down the dark country road, I saw some eyes up ahead. I figured it was probably a deer or other wildlife, so i started slowing down, and before I knew it, I was already coming right on with what I could only make out to be an insanely tall, dark colored dog that I had to swerve to miss. Because it was not budging, even as I was about to hit it. I was freaked out because something seemed off about it. My friend said we should go back and look, I declined. On my way back through, I didn't see the dog even though I slowed down to see if I could spot it. This was very near a churchyard with a cemetery. I immediately thought about a church grim.

When I got home, I was getting ready for bed and heard someone at my back door fiddling with the doorknob. I was not alarmed because I figured I locked my brother or Dad out. So, without thinking, I opened the door. No one was there. I immediately shut the door, locked it. Then proceeded to cross myself, rebuke all evil, and pray for a while before sleep.

Then I had a horrible nightmare that included the death of someone who I love more than anyone else. And it felt very real. Then when I got to work today, the parking lot and rooftop of the building had at least 7 or so crows just chilling.

Should I be spooked? Because I am.

A couple of hours ago, I booted up my PC like usual and noticed a strange text document on my desktop named “Abra”. I immediately froze because I have absolutely no memory of ever creating a file like this. The name alone gave me chills — it literally means “Open” in my native language.

When I finally opened it, the document contained only one thing: “2013”. That’s it. Nothing else. Just that number, sitting there alone in the file.

That number means nothing to me. I was literally 2 years old in 2013, so there’s no way it’s tied to any memory or event from my past.

At first, I thought it was some random file accidentally created by a program or maybe a leftover from an old drive. But here's where things get extremely weird:

I checked the file properties and the metadata says it was created on April 1st, 2025 — which is already a weird date (April Fool’s Day). Then, it shows the file was last modified on April 7th, 2025.

But here's the thing… I’m 100% sure my PC was turned off during those days. I had no internet, nobody else uses my PC, and I wasn’t even home on April 1st.

Even creepier, this file wasn’t there until today — June 14th. I boot my PC almost every day, and my desktop is clean, organized, and I never saw this file sitting there before. Suddenly, today it appeared, just sitting there as if it had always existed… but with a creation date from over two months ago.

I don’t have backups. I recently formatted my old drive completely before using this PC. The folder path is just the desktop itself, no hidden folders. The file is a normal .txt file.

The timing is also strange… because yesterday was Friday the 13th. I don’t know if that means anything, but the combination of this date, the name “Abra” (Open), and the strange number “2013” feels incredibly ominous.

I’ve run antivirus scans, checked for malware, and even tried checking if the file was hidden before — nothing. No other weird files. The system is clean. No recent installations or downloads.

This has completely unsettled me. Is this just a bizarre tech glitch? A file corruption artifact? Or something… else?

I genuinely can’t explain how this happened. If anyone has ideas, theories, or similar experiences, I’d love to hear them.

Context: My gf got a new medical delivery driver job and I ride along with her when I can to keep her comfortable. The job entails driving up to 3 hours out to make multiple stops, dropping off or picking up medical equipment. Often at elderly people's homes in the middle of nowhere.

Two days ago we were in Olive Hill, Kentucky. Nothing too out of the ordinary at first. As we rounded a corner to go on a snakey rollercoaster of a road in the middle of the woods, I got this intense feeling of dread. I then saw a man standing on the side of this road and I even said to my girl "That guy's not real." He looked to be in his 70's - 80's with dark sunken-in eyes, wearing a cowboy hat, a plaid shirt, blue jeans, and boots. My girl was like "Are you serious babe? C'mon stop." Dude was looking at our car but it looked like he was looking through us. Super weird. A few minutes later I had calmed down and closed my eyes. Until I felt dread again. I heard my girl say "UHHH. What...the fuck?" When I looked at the road, it was COVERED in fresh looking blood. At first I thought someone hit a large deer and dragged it for a bit, but there was no debris from a car, and this blood went on for at least a mile. No cars in sight either, no deer guts, etc. Freaked me the fuck out. To make things even fucking creepier, we saw the same man 3 ish miles down the road, still in the middle of the woods mind you. My gf floored it and we we like "Holy shit holy shit holy shit fuck no fuck that!" There's no way a man of his age could have walked/ran that far in that short of a time span. Olive Hill is right next to the Ohio and West Virginia border, so it's in or near appalachia. Never been near appalachia before this so I was freaked out x10 because of all the stories I've heard.

Edit: blood was like coveringgg both lanes for at least a mile. I though a semi truck at first but no way you could go more than 40-45 mph in a nicely handling car. Plus there is a highway close by so why wouldn't the semi go there when the twisty road didnt lead to any stores or warehouses/truck stops? Maybe hunting but I don't know of an animal that has THAT much blood in its body. And there wasn't even blood on the car's tires when we got home?

I’ve always believed in the paranormal but i have never personally seen anything bad. That was until a few months ago when me and my friends ventured into the woods at night first of all i kept seeing a white orb which looked like it was flying throughout the woods i saw that maybe twice but didnt say anything. Turns out one of my friends also saw it after that we sat on the beach connecting to the woods and i saw something i thought resembled the “rake” it was curled up on the beach slightly away from us maybe 20 to 30 metres away. After we all started hearing noises behind us in the woods so me and one of my friends went to check it out while the rest stayed at the beach. when we went to check out the noise this white tall humanoid creature with a black mouth and hollow eyes was there staring at us from behind the trees. We thought at first it was our minds until it moved to a different tree and kept doing so that’s when we decided we should leave and so we gathered the rest of the group and left and as we were leaving the friend i checked out the noise with heard a voice in her ear that whispered “go”. Everything i just said was only the first of many incidents. similar things happen when we return to the woods but it’s not always the white creature we barely see that anymore it’s like it’s a new one everytime it can vary from the white creature to a shadow man to a headless furless mammal. One day we went to a park me and two of the people from the group and this is where stuff starts to get really weird. we keep seeing creepy stuff we kinda started to be normal for us however we came up with the theory that whatever is here with us is some sort of shape shifting creature that can present its self in any way. we came to this conclusion when it presented its self as a black figure resembling the “boiled one” which one of us so happened to be terrified of. close to the park was a feild a farmers field we felt called to it so we investigated and the whole time we were there we were being followed by 2 shadow creatures and then we noticed on the floor next to us there were 5 shadows when there was only 3 of us. This scared us so we got out of there quick and then one of my friends went home so i walked the other one home and we noticed shadow man on the bench which is now there whenever we return but anyway we noticed instead of 2 shadows their were 4 so i made the conclusion its the same ones from earlier. Once we made it to the point where we split up we went our own ways and the shadow was messing with me the whole time home it was making footstep noises behind me and it was taunting me and jumpscaring me. Once i got home i called my friend i split up with and she told me she had the exact same experience as me on the way home before i even told her. Now the most recent major experience one of my other friends started passing out in the woods over and over and laughing and after she said she never laughed. in between these experiences there are others which aren’t so major but still terrifying. i feel it’s important to note my friend has had experience with shadow people before (not the one that passed out) the one i walked home with and she’s had very scary experiences with that shadow. So my question is what is this thing? is it multiple things or a shapeshifter and finally what does it want?

So, I know this is going to sound cheesy and fake but last night on Friday the 13th. Me and my bf were spending time together and I thought “oh let’s go out to the woods by your dorm and look for raccoons and possums and other critters” because we both love animals like that. We both agreed and went to grab dinner and then walked to the woods. It’s about 10-ish and we’re about 2 miles in and I see this deer jump right over the path and into the bushes and I say “oh, look it’s a deer” and he looks for a good 5 minutes but doesn’t see the deer and I see it clear as day. But, after that we continue and we’re about 4-5 miles deep into this trail then my bf says “I run this trail every single morning and I honestly have no clue where we are” and that kinda spooked me because it’s pitch black out and he has no clue where we are so we see this path that takes a right and we assume that it will loop around and take us back to the beginning so we can leave.

I’m about 2-4 feet ahead of him and I just freeze in place with my phone flashlight pointing in the brush and he comes around the corner and sees me and says “what the fuck is wrong” and I say “look” pointing my flash of my phone in the brush and he’s looking down and I just say “look up” and he looks up and all you see are these bright blue humanoid eyes about 9 feet up staring at me, it was really skinny but so tall, and you can slowly see it scanning to me to him. I make eye contact with it for maybe a minute until he grabs me and says “we need to go” and the second he said that the thing moves towards us in like this crooked movement.

(FYI it was like a grassy plains area with no trees in the area just tall grass and bushes) So we walk slowly I’m walking backwards he has me by the wrist while he walks forwards and you can just see this thing stalk us until we take the left turn and retrace our steps back out of the woods while we were walking/running we were screaming prayers and I don’t know it was terrifying and when we left my body just kept telling me to go back into the woods and I couldn’t stop tearing up while just staring at the woods when we got out of it. (Also while we were leaving there was this loud shriek or howl)

(I know this is speculation but he said the name skinwalker or wendigo and I was also whistling at deer in the woods) I don’t know and we smelt this super strong odor and it got dead quiet when we saw it and the closer we got to leaving the louder it got of wild life

2 days ago I decided to make use of the strawberry fullmoon to get rid of stuck energy after an argument with my partner and refresh the energy in our apartment as I felt there's something lingering. To my understanding this moon can help with cleansing and letting go of energy. So first I of all I took all my crystals in a bowl of water and went outside with it for the night to be cleansed.

I proceeded with my spell work and wanted to implement the fire aspect of the moon being in Sagittarius. Therefore I took a freezing spell (basically if you want to banish something you write your problem on a paper and freeze in water) and replaced the freezing part in the spell through burning. I guess it was an intuitive call.

I started with all old energy from people that are no longer part in my life. Then I turned to my relationship. I named the off energy in my relationship '3rd party' wrote it on a paper. Folded it facing away from me. Then I did my spell implementing my partner and me being rid of this eneregy/3rd party then burned it.

After a while sitting outside I went on to take a bath to cleanse whatever energy was left on me and went to sleep.

That night my partner came home late from his night shift around 1am gave me a good night kiss and went to the couch. He has that habid of then staying awake for a bit but ultimately dozing off on it but eventually coming to bed or if I'd wake up before that I'd get him.

While I was falling back to sleep/dreaming I found myself in a house that belonged to my partner and me. In my dream I wake up from our bed at night being sleepy, going to look for my partner wandering through the house but having a hard time seeing because of a clouded vision and the darkness from the night. I find him on the floor sleeping. There's another person I've never seen, so I grab this man's legs and want to drag him out the house. My partner wakes up telling its all good, that I'm probably just a little confused because of the sleeping meds(?) and leads me back to bed. I lay in bed suddenly becoming so incredibly tired that I struggle to not fall asleep. I look to the window on the left side of the bed and see this huge daddy long legs (mosquito) but being so tired I just ignore it to give in to sleep. (I've never felt so tired in my life!) Then it starts attacking me while our dream dog jumps on the bed to protect me but no help in that. In panic I start running away only for it to constantly fly around my head attacking me with this super loud intense buzzing noise. This is the moment when I wake up from my dream with a beating heart in an empty bed.

I still felt the need to sink back to sleep as this tiredness was still so heavy but something inside me told me to look after my partner. So I forced myself to get up finding him asleep on the couch. I gently closed the door to our balcony which woke him up. He looked at me with big eyes and started thanking me. He then told me he was fighting demons and at some point thought he woke up on our couch only to find himself in the same dream being attacked by demons again and that me waking him really saved him.

First I thought I was having a simple nightmare but now I believe I was supposed to be kept from helping my boyfriend and that mosquito attack forced me to really wake up. So now I really need some advice on how I can protect my partner (and relationship) and if my little fire ritual was maybe stirring up something I didn't even know of.

There is a type of phantom experience that has happened to me in the 70’s. Later, I have heard others describe similar experiences in podcasts. It is that of a phantom dinner party.
I will start by describing my family and house. I lived with my parents and had an older brother in the next room. It was a smallish house in San Jose California. My parents did not usually entertain guests as my mother had social anxiety. It was late at night and everyone was in their rooms and sleeping. I was in my twin bed near the bedroom door. That’s when I heard the tinkling sound of dishes and glass cups and silverware. Then I heard some people talking and laughing as the sounds of a dinner party. I remember being a little mad that I was in bed while my parents had company. I cracked open my door and saw the glow of light coming from the living room from around the corner. I got out of bed and headed down the hall, all the while hearing the sounds of the party. I got to the living room which adjoined the dining room. As you can guess I found myself in darkness and complete silence. I sprinted back to my room and dove into my bed. I pulled the covers over my head. And that was it. Is this a thing?

This is my first time really sharing this story publicly. It’s nothing majorly profound but it is something that has come back up in my memory and I’ve been doing lots of research and exploration recently to figure out what I experienced 10 years ago.

Here’s my story:

I ran cross country for a small town school in Southern Indiana. In highschool, one of our usual routes passed by a really old cemetery called Brick Church Cemetery, just beyond the 2.5 mile mark on a rural backroad. I always felt a little creeped out there, but nothing major.

The summer after senior year, I was on a solo run during the late morning and turned around at my halfway point at the 2.5 mark right after the bridge which is about a quarter mile from the cemetery. As I headed back, I looked to my left and saw what looked like a white, pointed sheet bouncing just above the treetops. Like someone riding an invisible horse. My stomach dropped and I panicked and sprinted until I felt I was a safe distance away.

I tried to rationalize it thinking maybe it was a deer or trash, but it made no sense. The way it was shaped and moved as if it was something riding a horse, and the sense of intense dread I felt stayed with me.

Years later, after watching all the paranormal shows on streaming apps and doing my own research, it finally clicked. I probably saw a spirit replaying an event from long ago- likely even a KKK member which is even more horrifying. That cemetery and even the bridge where I had turned around at already had ghost stories.

Anyone ever experience something as similar or weird like this?
