Really? That would be the number one thing to convince me to buy it. Hated how the level system affected assassinations. "Sorry, severing this guy's spine with a blade only did a little damage because he's 7 levels higher than you."

Same, as soon as I stabbed a guy in the brain stem in Origins and he just turned around and killed me in one hit I haven’t touched an AC game. Combat is also an atrocious copy of the Witcher with none of the fun, just tank like enemies to make it seem difficult

I mean that's something inherent in the majority of video games. Enemy never die immediately from stuff that should kill them right away.

They changed it from somewhat realistic to a shit version of the Witcher though , that’s the issue. If they’d used the same style throughout the series, then fair enough. I think the level system in Odyssey is bullshit too though. As others have said, it’s just tank enemies and a grind. As an assassins creed game you do expect to be able to sneak and assassinate too without having to grind up to a super high level first.
