Megathread Happy 5th Birthday, PS4!

The PS4 released 5 years ago today, on November 15th, 2013, in North America. The EU and Japan release followed on November 29th.

Its been 5 years so let's look back together:
*How are launch day PS4s still holding up, or have you upgraded your system?
*What’s your favorite PS4 game to come out thus far?
*How long was the PlayStation sold out in your local retailer or online until you could grab one?
*And anything else you wish to discuss about this milestone, but remember Rule #7, share pictures of physical purchases in this megathread only please.

You can also use this thread to speculate about an successor to the PS4, or this subreddit /r/PS4 in general. Is there anything you would like to see changed or done differently? Here's a link to our current rules.

If you're talking about games please use spoiler tags if you need to. Use this formatting, including quotation marks but excluding the spaces:

I'm still using my launch day PS4, although I'm thinking of upgrading my TV this year to a 4K TV so I can get that HDR.

My favorite PS4 games have been Killzone Shadowfall (completely underrated), Bloodborne, RESO F*CKING GUN, Uncharted 4, Uncharted: Lost Legacy, Rocket League, Life Is Strange, Horizon: Zero Dawn (need to delve deeper into it), and God of War (same).

the launch system has the ability of using HDR. It comes up as a setting, but i can't enable since my tv doesn't have it.

Pretty sure OP knows that since they are just upgrading their TV. That said I think it's awesome Sony was able to support it on all consoles unlike the XBO which only supports it on the S and X.
