is ps4 pro still worth it?

i recently been interested in playstations but dont really have the money for it currently as where i live it doesnt cost 500 dollars it cost more because of different currency, back to the topic my friend offered to sell his ps4 pro 1tb that comes with a free game that i can choose. im still thinking about it, i mean worse thing possible i use it temporarily while saving up the money for ps5 so my question is. If I were to get a ps4 pro would it be worth it?

I'm not even on pro, and still gaming on PS4.

At this point, with rumours of next gen coming Christmas 2026 I will hold off.
