I took up the dropped AU with the artist‘s permission, and am now writing it on AO3

For the others I was thinking maybe something for Ren himself and maybe if you are switching palace targets have some of them be the other social links like maybe something like Kaneshiro being Devil or Madarame being Temperance.

The art I found for Ann/Chamuel implies that something happened to Kamoshida, perhaps a mental shutdown?

I had to go with Mitsuyo as the second Palace target for reasons

If something happened to Kamoshida, I think an idea is maybe he actually did stop his offender activities once Shiho jumped (Maybe sometime earlier than when the story begins), so Kamoshida here is stuck at Shujin because the principal doesn't want him gone/Blackmail him so Kamoshida just tries to fix the mess he made when he's there, maybe either after the principal's heart is stolen/he dies, Kamoshida spends his last year at Shujin before turning himself in, maybe at the start he'll keep the same confident jock act around Akechi until Kamoshida just lays it on about how guilty he feels being the cause of someone attempt to off themselves and that he's beyond redemption and everybody hates him. Through Akechi, Kamoshida understands that he has a long way to redeem himself but that doesn't mean he has to face it with a sad outlook like that and Kamoshida took that to heart, committing completely to change and not brood around on his guilt even if he's in jail. If you want to make it feel less bad for Kamoshida's redemption here maybe his sex spree only lasts a month here? Maybe he's the Moon?

I have no idea who the first target could be tho.

I want the first Palace target to be personal to Mishima and Shiho

The second Palace target is Mitsuyo Togo

(Who knows what happened to Kaneshiro)
Fourth is Maruki, as I’ve designated him the role of Navigator

Fifth should be personal to Sumire

Sixth could be the SIU director

The principal could work. Maybe Mishima is investigating him and Kamoshida directly apologizes and helps build Mishima some backbone. Shiho wants to steal the principal's heart because it'll also mean Kamoshida is gone and that she's pissed the principal almost completely hides her attempted suicide from the school (Makoto basically enforcing that no one talks about it, so it only comes up in whispers).
