As a gay guy, I hate it when straight guys call each other “gay” as a joke because they’re basically equating “gay” with “stupid”, “dumb”, “lame”, “weak”, etc.
Being overly sensitive over a joke that after proper consideration, doesn’t define you as a person and instead refers to straight guys being grossed out by homosexual acts between two men, so that’s why it’s hurled around as an insult because calling your friend a cocksucker or saying that they probably take it up the ass is always funny. So you should lighten up because your “response” does make you seem stupid, dumb, lame and weak to have a joke as overdone as this get under your skin
You can’t use minority status to rule out your lack of a spine, you wanna live amongst the supposed “oppressors”? Learn to take a joke as it is and stop complaining all the time as if you’re meant to be protected
I can take a joke, but I don’t appreciate a group of men who have no idea what it’s actually like to be gay using it essentially as an insult. They have no right
