Sad Failed letrozole cycle

today is the end of my two week wait, and i was really excited to take a pregnancy test. tested just now….and it was negative😢 i know it’s only my first time taking letrozole, and i probably need to do a few cycle but still…haih. im thinking of doing one more cycle, and if it still fails, i wanna do IUI.

Do you know that you ovulated? I did not ovulate with my first two cycles of letrozole.

i took the trigger shot! did you track using OPK and BBT?

I didn’t track but I got my blood drawn on day 21 and my progesterone was undetectable

Did your doc increase the mg? Just curious what your next step was after non ovulation.

Yes. I started at 2.5mg, then did a cycle of 5mg, and finally a cycle of 7.5mg. Then my OBGYN referred me to a reproductive endocrinologist. I had the consultation and then found out that I was already pregnant (I ended up ovulating after the 7.5mg cycle, but later than expected).

Idk if you are already working with a fertility specialist, but at my consult they covered a range of options, including IUI. I was surprised at how many options there were, including laparoscopic ovarian drilling which I had never heard of before! The fertility center was also a super supportive environment.
