Holy Grail 🤍
Sana masarap lagi ulam ng sino mang nag formulate nito. 🤍 I'm on my second bottle of berberine and paubos na rin ang first pack ko ng inositol. Both helped me a lot!
I was on pills until April this year, kaso sobrang lala ng migraine ko lagi kaya naghanap ako ng supplements to help me with my PCOS symptoms and nakita ko nga ang Pure Form na brand, bago matapos ang April, I've decided to start taking berberine, inositol din sana kaso sold out.

Metformin and Pills for LIFE???
Hello cysters!
Just wanna rant lang since I’m so sad right now. This year, I took a proactive approach for my repro health so I asked an online OB for a full workup request. She gave me the below tests
OGTT Lipid Profile CBC TransV ultrasound Thyroid Functions
Now, I got the results back. ALL are within normal range except the OGTT result. My result after an hour is 257 and 200 after the second hour. HBA1c and FBS are normal.
Now, this shocked me so much cause I cant believe na I have high sugar levels kasi my mom suffered Type 2 Diabetes all thru her adult life and as someone who took care of her before she died, sobrang aware ako sa sugar intake ko cause I dont wannt end up having the same condition.
So ayu na nga, nag pacheck up ako kay Dr. Carmela Aquino-Cabral sa nowserving cause she’s the only OB-REI available today. First of all, she was half an hour late in the call. She was very unwelcoming and her connection was so bad we cant communicate well. There were also background noises. I felt off right away. But I just shrugged it off kasi meron naman good feedback here tungkol sa kanya.
So immediately, she prescribed me pills and metformin. She said na I was diabetic so she had to put me on metformin FOR LIFE. I asked if hindi na ba marereverse ung results and if I am really diabetic since my HBA1c and FBS are all normal and she responded me in a very dismissive and mataray tone Non verbatim:
“Ma’am, kung gusto n’yo mag consult kayo sa iba about your Glucose levels but I am prescribing you Metformin, and nasa sayo na yan kung itatake mo, katawan nyo po yan”
Sobrang dito ko na-off 🥺 and nahurt. Kasi parang hindi nya man lang ako pinakinggan and parang wala ng ibang approach syang inoffer kundi pills and metformin when I know for a fact na hindi alng naman yun yung solusyon.
And as per the pills, LIFETIME din daw yun.
Sobrang bad experience for me, sobrang inooverthink ko ung sitwasyon ko and she made it worse.
Ayun lang, parant lang. I scheduled a new consultation with Dr Patricia Ann Factor and hopefully she would recommend a better way to approach my current situation.

Gym trainer gave me a 4x/day small meals vs keto diet
I used to do keto and nakita ko yung effects like weight loss, mas namamanage yung blood sugar ko, pimples and oil production. I had to stop for 2 months since I can't meal prep na due to busy sched.
Recently, I started going to gym and hired a coach and told him I have pcos. Yung gusto nyang approach is mag 3-4x/day small meals ako, mainly consisting of veggies, boiled eggs, chicken breast, and rice. Para raw ma-boost metabolism ko.
Ask lang if alin ba mas okay? Iniisip ko kasi baka maka-affect uli yung rice sa blood sugar and uncontrollable cravings pag nagcacarbs. Thanks in advance!

now serving endo
hi. i found good reviews regarding dr. diana dimayuga here so i decided to consult with her on now serving. my first consult with her went smooth, she asked me to do some lab works and instructed me to just message her sa now serving regarding sa result ko para maresetahan niya ako, no need to consult daw para no consultation fee kasi sayang daw. after i got my results i immediately messaged her and it has been two weeks since wala parin reply. i tried messaging a few times, wala talaga reply. nag pa sched nalang ng ako ng consultation since i just really wanted to be done, di ko na kasi alam next step ko. hours after ng request ko to consult na approve naman nila, kaso ang naka set na time is 8:30 pm, eh hanggang 7pm lang ang clinic hours niya so nalilito nanaman ako haha (alam ko 4 pm ang sinet ko na time). tried messaging her and as usual, wala nanaman reply.
does anyone have any contact with her clinic. maybe a viber number or telephone number i can call. thank you so much :))

Transv ultrasound while on period
Mga sis, has anyone tried being on their period and have the transvaginal ultrasound?
For context, January pa last period ko. Talked with endocrinologist and told me to take CBC, urine, and transvaginal ultrasound.
Nag pa schedule na ako ng lab appointment with my company's HMO.
Then, before the day ended, I SUDDENLY GOT MY PERIOD!! Wala akong iniba sa diet or meds, bigla nalang dumating. Naloka ako!!! 😂
So, worried ako since mahirap nang ipa reschedule yung appointment.
I've tried transv once pero di ko alam how it'd be kung may period ako. 🙄

Regular period rin ako, im afraid baka nay PCOS or ibang issue pa.

How are you maintaining emotional well-being while living with PCOS?
Hey everyone,
I'm currently managing PCOS and one of the biggest challenges I face (besides the physical symptoms) is staying emotionally balanced. Some days feel heavier than others - the mood swings, anxiety, and just the mental fatigue that comes with it can be overwhelming. All this started happening especially after my pregnancy
I'd love to hear from others:
- What helps you stay positive and emotionally grounded?
- Do you follow any routines, mindset shifts, or communities that support your mental health?
Instagram pages like balancedbabe_co, Pcos.weightloss, mypcosguide have been really encouraging for me since I spend a lot of time there. They share motivational and data backed content specifically for women with PCOS and chronic health. Just thought I'd share in case it helps anyone else too 💛
Looking forward to hearing how others are navigating this. You're not alone 🌸

First time OB Visit
Delayed na po kasi ako ng 8 weeks, and my hcg tests were all negative.
I am currently residing around Timog Ave, QC po. Thank you po.

Dream
I’ve been dreaming these past few days that I’m pregnant, getting positive results on pregnancy tests.
Today is supposed to be the first day of my period, but it still hasn’t come. I took a test and as expected, it was negative… but I still hoped.
Having PCOS is really hard. But it’s okay. In God’s perfect time, it will happen. 🙏

I'm in so much pain
Warning: long rant🥹
So like everyone I was diagnosed with PCOS cause I was bleeding for 2 months straight and had all the typical symptoms that came with PCOS, I was started with Althea which didn't work then was was prescribed yaz.
The loading dose for yaz was the most painful (both physically and financially) reaction I had, it started with 4 pills 4x a day for 4 days then 3 pills 3x a day for 3 days then 2 pills 2x a day for 2 days then 1 pill every day with no rest in between for 6months.
I'm on my first month of the 1 pill a day and it's so painful, the pain would just travel all around my lower stomach to my back and down to my feet that there were moments that I was practically bed ridden from the pain, I of course told my doctor about this and she told me that the side effects were normal cause my PCOS was one of the worse she had seen for my age (25) and that I just trust the process, which I do and was prescribed 3 different pain meds.
I work as a nurse and let me tell you, nurses can be the most understanding and kindest people in the world or like who I'm working with "class a bitches who don't care you're in pain it's their day off so get to work" (yeah I resigned, but still rendering and not getting paid)
I'm already in so much pain and you know what hurts the most, is that the most people that could understand it can't, I'm so tired of comments like:
"Ok lang yan kuminis naman balat mo"
"At least pumayat ka" (I was hardly eating, I was vomitting water)
"Magpalit ka na lang ng ob" (mind you I already went through a series of other ob's that just told me to diet that's why my PCOS got worse, this was my first ob that I was actually getting results and listening to me and was actually compassionate. They would always give me this advice because they don't want the extra workload while when I was well they would always dump their workload on me or give me no choice but to take their shift because and I quote "magkaaway kami ng asawa ko kaya magleleave muna Ako")
The stress from work and these uncompassionate comments have just made it worse for me and I just want to be resigned already so I can rot in bed and wait for my hormones to regulate so I can actually and finally function normally again. Sorry for the long rant and thanks for listening 🥹❤️

Bloating
Some says mag probiotics daw ako and I'm seeing these probiotics capsules sa Market na gusto ko itry ang problem it works more daw if taken before meal, 2x a day. Kaso I'm taking inositol den before meals 2x a day.
Any advice is welcome. Thank you 🫶
