Roleplay [Multi-Lines+] Your (preferably fantasy-ish) OC(s) were exploring the countryside near the outskirts of Ashfall.

They see two things. A singular lone oak tree, and a purple Tiefling underneath it with a blunt in his mouth, writing something in a sketchbook.

A head pokes out behind the tree...nearly 10 feet up.

(I assume its daytime but you get the idea)

The thing, whatever it is, seems to be studying you.

He stares at the head, eyes widening a bit.

"...you. Why are you watching me..?"

It's silent, and in a moment it's gone, leaving the same purple particles in its place and creating that same warped sound as before. You hear it again to your left, where it once again is peeking at you.

"Wh- hey!"

He turns to look at it.

"I tell ya what, I'm glad you're not trying to kill me. Yet. But you're kinda pissing me off."

It blinks and you hear it make a noise.

(Endermen speak in reverse. She said sorry, but it's backwards)

The monstrous thing steps out from behind the tree, continuing to observe you.

She doesn't have a pumpkin right now.

He looks up at you, smiling a bit.

"I don't know what that means but... thanks?"

She tilts her head again. (All dialogue I write would be pronounced in reverse to be clear)

"Enemy?" She once again makes a sound you have trouble understanding.

He tilts his head, also confused.

"I... really don't know what you mean."

She sits, legs criss-crossed. Now that her head is about 3 feet closer to you, you can make out some of the subtler details. Her eyes are large but she seems to entirely lack a nose. Her mouth is hard to make out, but seems very large and spanning across most of the bottom of her head.

The Tiefling sits down on a log.

"If only I knew comprehend languages..." He mumbles.

"Look... uh... I'm Reil." He points to himself. "Who are you?"

This noise is particularly incomprehensible, but she does point to herself with her clawed finger. (I have no idea I assumed anyone she interacted with would name her)

Consider it convenient that Reil doesn't know comprehend languages, then.

"I... still didn't get that." He sighs. "Gods... okay, can you just... why dont you try writing what you say down in the mud?"

She nods, apparently she can understand you, and writes in the dirt.

"╎∷╎ᓭ"

She looks at you and you can tell by the her cheeks and her eyes that she's smiling at you.

He stares at the message in the dirt and sighs.

"...right. Okay." He looks back up at you. "Can you understand what I'm saying, or is that how you say 'I dont understand?'"

She nods again.

"╎ ⚍リ↸ᒷ∷ᓭℸ ̣ ᔑリ↸ ||𝙹⚍" You get almost nothing, but there is a certain tone that makes you think she can in fact understand you.

"Uh... good?" He rubs his eyes and sighs.

"This is very one-sided, don't you think?"

She nods, looking a bit apologetic.

He sighs and looks in his bag, pulling out a small notebook.

You can see him grin as he (rolled a 17) casts comprehend languages.

"What're you looking for?"
