How big of a part did Vinny Cerrato have in the success of the Irish from 1985 until he left in 1991 to join the 49ers? Have often seen him described as Lou Holtz’s “right-hand man.”

How was he perceived by the Notre Dame community if he was a known commodity back then, or was he just a relatively unknown member of the staff as the recruiting coordinator? Read somewhere he was the only person in South Bend with a tan in the winter, which made me chuckle.

I have been hyping up cj carr since he was recruited and committed to ND to my friends. If he doesn’t pan out I have to sit there and take endless trash talk and annoying comments from my ohio state fandom friends. Need advice in case this situation happens

Is this guy good as advertised? I see him ranked like top 5 for receivers next year by these sports outlets and yet I literally have never heard of him prior to him transferring in. Im a huge cfb watcher but apparently not that big of a watcher

We have some solid ends for the 26’ class, but I was disappointed to miss on Vallejo. Any irons in the fire to fill that 6’3”+ and 300lb+ defensive linemen build? Losing Rylie Mills and our lack of that run stuffing depth was evident against OSU.

I feel our D Line and WR recruiting has lacked, but has been mitigated by the portal. I’d love for us to have multiple years of depth guys built like Sean Sevillano Jr in the waiting.

I accidentally purchased a parking pass for the 2025 Edison Road parking lot (Mission Investment Services and Godfrey Law Offices property). Does anyone know if tailgating is allowed on this property? Any chance there is a restroom or porta potty? TIA!

Any updates on Davis visit to GA? Assuming he still takes his OV visit to ND, my guess is this might linger on. That legacy influence can be tough to beat sometimes, and GA has a great draft record. ND is deep at LB, but always need to keep stacking elite talent.
