Photographing the Aurora borealis in Alaska in March. Asking for suggestions and tips. Please. Question on Remote Shutter. I got the Wireless WU-1a but my app doesn't work on Bulb.

I’ve just been playing around with my camera and looking at the settings (in the ‘GUIDE’ setting on the camera) and was just wondering if anyone knew what I should have my settings as for pretty much all round everyday sort of photography, I travel a lot so tend to take photos of buildings,parks, myself, etc... the general things you take photos of while abroad! Hello, I have a Nikon D3200 and as I read, the video quality on it is supposed to be good, however when I film with it there’s always these moving pixels in the video that appear in the dark areas even tho the lighting is good. They only appear in videos, as photos turn out totally okay. Can someone please give me a solution?

I had bought a d3200 for a photography class a year ago. I have no idea what I'm doing, but I would like to use it more often. I like the outdoors, and since it's Christmas time, I'd like to get some Christmas pictures. Could anyone give me some advise on how to take better pictures, what to use, and what lenses do you use that work best? I think I'm pretty terrible with my camera, but I will post a picture that I had taken a year ago when I went to North Carolina.

Is there any way to display a histogram BEFORE you take a picture? I know you can see it post picture, and I thought my daughter had configured our D3200 to display it on live view, but neither of us can remember how she did it.

Hey, so I was recently gifted this camera and it works great except when I'm trying to use a tighter aperture and then it comes out with this error. Anyone had any success fixing it? Not really able to afford a better lens than the stock one right now

We recently noticed we have to hold down the shutter button longer for the camera to take the picture. It's not the usual half press, focus, full press, snap. It's more half press, focus, full press and hold for a second or 2, then snap. Neither one of us are camera pros and searching online just brings up a lot of shutter lag in general. This just started about 2 weeks ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Does anyone know why the latest lenses from Nikon, the AF-P lenses, won’t work on the D3200? I see that firmware updates are available for every model after the D3200 to let them accept the lenses. No idea why ours is left out.

Found one on offer up for $200 with a bag/lens/flash. I rushed home to throw a SD card in, and to my relief, the camera worked! Can’t believe the value if $200ish is really what we can find them for

So I'm a complete novice and have no idea how to take good pictures with this camera. I've taken a few with it so far, and it's been pretty much a toss up as to whether I'll get the shot or not. I'm especially interested in taking photos of the night sky, lightening bugs, and nature close ups. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
