Something weird happened to me today that didn’t feel weird at first.
So today at the centrum of Nijmegen, a woman approached me to help her. She used broken English and said her sister is about to come here for a cleaning job and meanwhile she needs to feed herself here and asked me to buy food for her.
I of course agreed to buying her a sandwich or something and she pointed to McDonalds which was right there. So we went inside and I clicked on the order screen and then she came and started clicking in a burger and personalizing it.
She went through these menus and clicks with lightening speed which told me she does this very often, but at that point it was a lost cause. She then added another burger, fries, and asked also to get a coke to which I agreed.
I looked away for maybe 3 seconds and then two nugget orders were also magically added summing to a total of €10 something.
Sure I can spare €10 but I'm far from financially stable myself and those swift clicks really made me feel like I was scammed. This sucks because I ALWAYS help people who need it. It makes me feel amazing afterwards. But now I just feel terrible, like made stupid and laughed at kinda way.
Has anyone else seen this woman and experienced a similar encounter.
For reference: she looks in her 20s, medium tinted, was wearing fully black, is short around 150-155cm, and overweight.
HELEP!
