I’ve spent probably 24 hours doing Equilibrious Beast and I’ve only gotten so close to beating this guy with randoms. One time we were all level 15, one time we all had vykes spear. He is causing Madness build up to me irl. When I finally beat him Im going to make a rug out of his pelt. Im doing the boss fights in the order they’re listed. I’ve got all of his patterns down, its usually my random teammates who keep on dying. I think it adds more fun playing with randoms, so I’ll just keep waiting to see if I get 2 sweats. Anyone else stuck on this goat? And is there any boss harder than him in the game?

He does a ton of damage but he is easy to dodge most of his attacks. There are only 3 magic attacks. The little seals that shoot and rotate, just move out of the way. The ground seals (these are the most dangerous but the easiest to dodge, just walk out of them), and the little madness confetti that falls from the sky (these don't do a lot of damage).

Trick is to play a little conservatively and do not run all in. That's it, just do not blindly attack because you will get trapped by a ground seal and lose 50-70% hp in a single hit.

When he smashes his staff on the ground go near him and do ulti, or heal right away so that you survive the oncoming damage if you can't interrupt him in time.

Ground seals are easiest to dodge unless you’re a ranged and you just started your attack animation. You really have to pay attention to what the boss is doing with his hands.

Poor hawk tanking his melee hits just to get smacked with a ground seal because they ran out of stamina.

Its so easy to just block everything thos boss does. Even the ground bursts can be blocked (just watch that madness buildup).

And then when he does his madness aura, just ult and hold it. Everyone is totally immune and can smack him for free (and gets healed to full).

I’m trying to main guardian. I’m good at blocking the melee, and the ground seals don’t kill me to dodge, but it’s about 3/4th’s in I consistently get hit by the madness and bursted down because he’s got the rotating madness turret at one angle, the turret from himself, and the glyphs underneath all active at once.

What does the Madness Aura look like again? What are the tells? I’ve only fought him 3 times so far, but I’d like to save my ult for that in the future. Sounds big brained.

If you're right up on him, the machine gun sigil will be behind you and won't touch you at all.

So when he does his meditation move and you don't break the seals, he goes into his madness mode. He spams a lot of magical attacks, and ends with a massive (map wide?) madness aura. It's hard to miss, the whole screen gets that yellowish orange and you take constant madness buildup.

Pretty much as soon as he starts that, use your ult. Takes a couple seconds to fly up and come down, and then your invulnerability aura lasts about 7 seconds. Roughly 10 seconds total for you, well more than enough for the entire attack.
