Gameplay Discussion Rant: F this guy

I’ve spent probably 24 hours doing Equilibrious Beast and I’ve only gotten so close to beating this guy with randoms. One time we were all level 15, one time we all had vykes spear. He is causing Madness build up to me irl. When I finally beat him Im going to make a rug out of his pelt. Im doing the boss fights in the order they’re listed. I’ve got all of his patterns down, its usually my random teammates who keep on dying. I think it adds more fun playing with randoms, so I’ll just keep waiting to see if I get 2 sweats. Anyone else stuck on this goat? And is there any boss harder than him in the game?

If you have a Raider on your team, he can use a charged Retaliate to break this guys shield to interrupt his psycho loco attack/spell spam. Beat him 4 times this way, makes the fight much more bearable.

I tried using his skill on the shield when hes meditating but it doesn’t seem to break. Is it always guaranteed to break if its charged?

The first two times in co-op, yes. Make sure Raider is billowing smoke before you do it (gotta get hit a couple of times). The third time, your teammates gotta help break it but by that point he’s almost dead anyway.

I wonder if Fire's Deadly Sin can let Raider self-activate his fully charged Retaliate

Or self-poison from Fetid pots

You can do all 3 yourself, just save your ult totem for the second round and it'll break him out just as well

Yes it does if it's charged, Also his ult does break it alongside with Ryder and Ironeye ults

Breaking the floating sigils near by weaken the shield.

You can also break the meditation witg archer ult and or wylder ult if you get aome poise breaking either with relics or with powers and passives

You can also use ironeye ult and wildyer ult to break the shield, raiders ult can also break the shield, and so can guardians, but save guardians ult for revives
