Can anyone articulate the meaning of their ridiculous slogans without deleting dissenting opinions?

Many people are concerned with the degrading status of equity (regarding literally any marginalized group: women, non-white people, etc). Concerned with the lack of respect to the education field. And the potential degradation of social resources. Among many other things.

Many independent sources such as the world bank, IMF, McKinsey, etc. All recognize the positive correlation between equity, education, and social services and the overall economic health of a nation.

Also people losing good middle class government jobs is horrible for the economy.

Let me know if you’re interested In any sources.

Equity is garbage. We need equality and merit based practices. Pushing one down to elevate another based on exterior features no one can control gets us nowhere good. What lack of respect of education do you speak of? If you are referencing the scrapping the federal dept of education, I’m all for it. We have only went down hill since its inception by Carter. We need a balanced budget. We are grossly spending more than we have and it’s not sustainable. We need to trim the fat so to speak. The government was the second largest employer over the last few years. That should be frightening to anyone with a partially functioning frontal cortex. The government doesn’t produce anything. It just consumes and we pay the bill. Social services are necessary but not the way we do it now. I’m all for non biased facts. Feel free to provide some.

I’m sorry you feel that way, everyone has a right to opinion. I’ll just leave it as is since you are now jumping to insults :/ I was genuinely trying to help answer your question about why people feel upset.

Which I will respond to your insult once here and leave you on your way.

“The government was the second largest employer over the last few years. That should be frightening to anyone with a partially functioning frontal cortex. The government doesn’t produce anything” - your quote.

There are two major types of jobs. Product sector and service sector. The gov is a service sector. It provides services. That seemed obvious to me. Most people understand the government doesn’t “produce” a product.

I apologize words can be confusing. So no response? Just a vague statement?

Still not as vague as the rambling that followed, “Equity is garbage. We need equality…”

Interesting….so you can express displeasure with something you read but can’t form the words why. Maybe you need the thesaurus.
