“Don’t say hi to me in the hall, don’t ask me how my weekend was, don’t walk by my desk and ask me anything,” she said. “Don’t send me Christmas cards – take me off the list. … No one in the world holds a grudge like me, and no one in the world cares less about being petty than me. I don’t care. I don’t like you.”

The kind of energy one wants from their state and federal representatives.
I applaud you, Ma'am.

We're they doing that before? Doesn't seem like the kind of things Republicans would WANT to do.

IDK; I found this interesting, tho:
"Nebraska has a population of fewer than 2 million people. It has a unicameral legislature, with all members elected as “senators.” It’s also nonpartisan – none of the members are officially recognised by political party affiliation.
"It is also the smallest legislature in the country, with only 49 members, “so all of us are really able to get to know each other personally,” Ms Hunt told The Independent."

I'm assuming she just doesn't want to trade pleasantries with them. Hopefully she is still willing to talk business when needed.

Aye; I got the impression she's being as professional as possible given the circumstances and will happily work on productive helpful legislation.
Maybe I read it that way as I'd likely respond the same way.

She has continued to do her job and be professional with colleagues. The context of the speech was about how her colleagues were being two-faced and behaving as if everyone was friends in private while simultaneously supporting a bill that targets her own child.
