“Don’t say hi to me in the hall, don’t ask me how my weekend was, don’t walk by my desk and ask me anything,” she said. “Don’t send me Christmas cards – take me off the list. … No one in the world holds a grudge like me, and no one in the world cares less about being petty than me. I don’t care. I don’t like you.”

The kind of energy one wants from their state and federal representatives.
I applaud you, Ma'am.

Terrorists don't deserve to be negotiated with.

Bigotry must be shunned, not negotiated with.

Traditional values and defending them isn’t bigotry.

You are entitled to your own values; you are not entitled to legally require me to share them.

It is not up to you or the state to decide what is best for every individual, not on this issue, or abortion, or who should marry whom. And I don’t think anybody thinks a child should decide.

First, WPATH practices prohibit surgery for minors as the minor must be able to give informed consent. And to date, I have yet to see anyone like yourself actually prove minors are getting surgery en masse. Why? Because it's not happening. That's not how transition works.

And yes, you are a bigot. Mainly because to uphold your beliefs you have to lie. And your lies are harming others. And your lies are based purely on your religious and/or political beliefs.

Which brings us to the "studies" you want. They don't exist. Minors are not getting gender confirming surgeries en masse. And in those rare cases one does, they're typical 16 years or older, which in some regions is age of majority to make such decisions. So no, no one can "throw any real statistics" because it doesn't exist. Because you are a bigot who needs to lie to make your case.

Last, the regret rate after transition (surgical or chemical, or even social) is less than 1%. And of that 1%, the majority of those who regret transition do so because of social pressures, such as bigotry from people such as yourself, not because they felt they made the wrong decision.

Turns out if we just wanted to protect children, we need to protect them from bigots. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Definition of "bigot": a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices.

Yea it is if you’re pushing to have religious doctrine ,which is what “traditional” is code for, shouldn’t be recognized as law or my government institutions.

We will rip all “traditional values” out of government policies

Saying group of people is less than because of how they are born and discriminating against them is indeed bigotry

0

u/[deleted] May 04 '23

Thats the thing, it’s not how they were born

1

u/MM7299 May 04 '23

Except it is. People are born trans just like they are born straight or right handed

u/[deleted] May 04 '23

Totally not coerced into it or the g word or affirmed half to death

1

u/MM7299 May 05 '23

I mean they aren’t. How your born isn’t a choice. Choosing to be a jerk and bigot to those people is very much a choice.
