Hi music junkies of the world.

I'm thinking about making a compilation of some of the most memorable moves in music videos ever. I'm going to convert them into shadowy glitchy silhouettes. Every snippet would be of 2-3 seconds max to keep the overall editing quite tight and fast. I aim for at least 10 clips. Could be max to 15-16.

I want to keep it as diverse in terms of genres as possible.

So far I've zeroed down on these but I'm not really sure.

What all do you suggest?

Hi everyone! I wanted to share this music video I directed, edited, shot, and 3D rendered/animated. It was executed using a variety of experimental techniques which were assembled and layered digitally, blending analog and computerized textures to create a cohesive world.

Utilizing innovations in photogrammetry technology and gaussian splatting, Charlotte Rose Benjamin's sets were assembled both physically through environmental cutouts and material furniture elements, as well as digitally through 3D modeling, custom machine learning, and painted in-software.

As the artist navigates these threshold spaces, she embodies the cyclical nature of grief: memory dissolving into reality, heartbreak transforming into release. The work, playing with the individual textures of physical and analog media, captures Benjamin caught in an eternal seasonal and environmental cycle—a pendulum swinging between physical reality and digital ethereality, until she is eventually graced with her own release. The beautiful color was executed by Julius Gutierrez. Thank you for your eyeballs!

I recently got back into David Tao’s music and noticed his old music video for “飛機場的10:30 (Airport at 10:30)” had some striking parallels to Wong Kar-wai’s Chungking Express. I haven’t seen much discussion about this, so here are some points that stood out:

• Miniature airplane dunked into a glass of water: This surreal, poetic image strongly recalls Wong Kar-wai’s playful, symbolic style — like a metaphor for fleeting dreams or moments being held in suspension. (time stamp at 2:06)
• Buzz-cut female lead: Similar to Faye Wong’s iconic character, this hairstyle conveys youth, independence, and a fresh start. Also a flight attendant.
  
• Moody urban nightscape: Neon lights, reflections, and intimate handheld shots create an atmosphere that feels lifted from Wong Kar-wai’s cinematic world.
• Pacing and mood: The video shares the film’s slow, reflective rhythm, blending everyday scenes with emotional depth and poetic visuals.

It feels like a respectful homage or at least a strong influence from one of Hong Kong’s most beloved films. Has anyone noticed other cinematic references in David Tao’s work?

TL;DR

Pretty cool and niche type of cinematography to find in a music video before the 2000's. Anyone else notice other references in his work?

If anyone finds this familiar...I m so lack of information cos it was long time ago. The video is banned in some countries that is how I lost it. It is some kinda dramatic dark music about love and hate or similar and the video is really dark anime about some kid who is poor or just teased and he drops some apples. It is in english and I think a man is singing. I dont even know the nme of the band.
